I don't think "So Happens it's Tuesday" was on the original 2015 list, not that I'm complaining. Its a welcomed addition.

Glad I'm not the only one that had a crazy amount of bottles waiting. Trustee life is hard this time of the year. Had 13 cases last month and 7 this month so far.

Tasting room has bottles of 2 Turtle Doves through 6 Geese sitting on the back shelf, non-barrel versions.

They had bottles of FdR at the tasting room somewhat frequently this past year so I imagine they were just filtering out bad bottles as they opened them, and only served the good ones. When I had it, it was great. RdF on the other hand...I wasn't surprised because the one bottle I had left was stickered "drink before 6/30/14" whereas the others I've consumed had no such sticker. For those of you who have 'em sitting around, my infected one was Batch #125 bottled 3/13/14. If you've got the same batch, good luck!

to be clear, they ALL were meant to be consumed quickly and kept cold. with or without the sticker.

though signs of infection and not just tasting like jager, were pretty much not an issue until recently. I do feel they were over cautious in that release and it cost them heavily in perception down the road.

Exactly. There was so much info on drinking them fresh, I don't see how people are still confused. I think the internet actually broke that day there were so many details about the Floyd beers.

There's no confusion here. I consumed bottles past the sticker date that were fine. I was mentioning this recent bottle in the hopes that others holding onto bottles would see it sooner rather than later.

It would have cost them a hell of a lot more in perception if they hadn't been overly cautious. People would've stored their bottles in warm closets, infections would've become apparent sooner, and it would've been a complete clusterfuck. No win situation considering the beer was contaminated with bacteria regardless, but they handled it about as well as they could've.

I'm just glad they still released it and just made everyone aware of the infection. The RdF was spectacular. Glad to have at least tried it, even if I couldn't cellar it.

yeah, I am glad about that. S.H.I.T. seemed like another one where they could have probably just released it with that warning and I would have maxed the fuck out of it and then some.

Does anyone know if members of both 2015 & 2016 can leave their beer at The Bruery past the March 31st pickup date? Or is it mandatory to pickup all your 2015 beers even if you're still a member?

Any thoughts on Ukulele? Seems like a hot mess at first. If i think about it like a whiskey cocktail instead of a beer its kind of interesting.. i really get the bourbon on the nose. The ginger and pepper spice reminds me of a spicy whiskey ginger watered down. The passion fruit on the finish focus this beer. Its a bit of a chin stroker. i don't know about this one
