Not sure if the Jesus is seeing bottle shops, but Pappy's Biscotti and Cognac Jesus were on sale at a shop here in NYC yesterday, $28 per. As other's have said, the bottles are $40 at Torst.

Hi there, I'm the one who checked in first on Untappd. We were there just visiting, and started doing what we normally do (taste every beer available on tap). The bartender noticed and said that he had been working there for over a year and had never seen anyone do that. So we got to talking, and he finally ended up offering us the bottle (for $40). I believe it was supposed to go up on the menu that evening, but we were there at noon. So we were lucky, almost just missed it!

I'm certainly not an expert, but the beer itself was amazing. I've never tasted the bourbon, but the smoothness of this beer was just sublime. Excellent balance of flavors as well. 100% worth the $40 bucks, would buy more, given the chance.

Jeppe said less than 30 cases of the Pappy Biscotti and Pappy Even More Jesus--with most going to Torst and a couple of NYC accounts.

Double Barrel Jesus was available today at a tiny bottle shop in Mountain View, CA. I actually had the day off and could have gone. Decided not to because the traffic is so, so, so terrible on 101 and of course the shop was releasing it at 5pm. I guess I wasn't willing to sacrifice 2 hours in traffic (its only 15 miles away) to get it. Oh well. I went to bevmo down the street, and some Helldorado was sitting on the shelf. Picked up one, why not.

Had Pappy Biscotti last night at Torst. $40 is rough but it was well worth every penny! Hoping to see this in bottle shops in Manhattan, Queens, or Brooklyn sometime soon (I didn't get the posts about Covenhoven or St Gambrinus in time). I didn't think it could get any better than BA Biscotti but Pappy IBB just jumped onto my all time top 10. Get some!

Just had this and Pappy Biscotti at Torst today. Definitely worth it - I think the $40 is actually a very reasonable price at a bar given that they go for $27-28 at bottle shops. Less than a 100% markup - I'll take that any day, and especially at Torst.

I tend to agree with this, i get being able to taste a significant difference between actual pappy and eagle rare or buffalo trace....but to be able to pull the differences out of barrel aging a beer in them.....idk....i just think you would have to drink barrel aged stouts every day to be able to do that. Maybe im wrong....considering ive never had a pappy barrel aged beer.

Not Pappy, but I lucked into finding both DBJ and Cognac Jesus in the Indianapolis area this weekend. Good luck to anyone still searching for either.

Proletariat (NYC) just advertised bottles and bottle pours at their bar, guess a couple more of these cases got distributed than first thought?
