You have waited in a line from before sunrise (drinking beer all the while) for a brewery to release a beer.

you've reached that point where a subtle well balanced beer is far more appreciated that the over the top hop bombs.

Hey, I've loved the hop monsters for years. but they just remind me of the hot blond with huge 'assets' and not much in the brains department. They're fun here and there, but not something I would choose for the rest of my life.

everyone you know does not even bother to offer you a non-craft product as they know you'd rather have no beer than a BMC.......

you take the long way home instead of the highway hoping you pass a good liquor store to find a hard to find beer.

Again, this is snobbery, not geekdom. Many will still accept a beer as a beer when it is the only choice, or not the time or place to be a snob. At a friends house and it is all they have...I will take it. I will never BUY a BMC when there are options, but I will be gracious enough to take that beer my future father in law hands me, and I will say thank you(will also chug it first chance nobody is watching). I also have moments where I end up wanting a beer in the wrong restaurant. Snobs often lose manners being snobs. Maybe it is time to have another guilty pleasure thread...it's been a while.....

You created a spreadsheet using Public Information to tell you (theoretially) how many bottles Portsmouth Brewery would have left over after the drawing, the tapping and the 2nd Chance Drawing.

2012 Kate the Great Distribution Breakdown
    Beer Barrel= 31 Gallons
    1 Gallon= 128 Ounces
    Ounces in a Beer Barrel= 3968
14 Barrel Total in Ounces 55552
Size of a Kate the Great BOTTLE in Oz.= 11.16
    2,000 Bottles Being Sold-Total In Oz. 22320
    14 Barrels-in Oz. 55552
    Subtract 2,000 Bottles-In Oz. 22320
    Leaves you -In Oz. 33232
    # of Kegs Left Over 16.75
    Ounces in a Keg 1984
Ounces Left in .75 of a Keg 1488
Bottles left over Before 2nd Chance Drawing 128.28
Bottles Given Away for 2nd Chance Drawing 24
    Total Bottles Left Over 104

Again, you should learn to let others drink (or not drink) what they like without calling them names.

When you have your girlfriend call in to a shop to get on a list for a limited release beer 35 mins or so after you did the same (just so that it's not completely obvious that she's calling moments after you confirmed there was a list, got on it, and had her call and get on it).
