I feel like you should not be able to make this statement on this website without a link to proof (lab results or a statement from the brewery). It can be a very damaging rumor to start and its something anybody can say.

 

I had Even More Jesus last night for first time, didn't love it. I have a bottle of DB Jesus. Based on my experience with Even More Jesus, anyone want to speculate whether I would like DB Jesus?

 

Ok... It was probably just my bottle was infected, my buddies bottle was infected and another guy I know in Indy's bottle was infected... but yours is probably OK.

I would point you to this other beer check in site where you can read other reviews that say the same things, but I think if I mention the name I would probably be banned. Your probably safe to buy a bottle tho! Cheers!

 

I would say yes. I also know several others who had a similar experience who would say the same thing, tho I have no lab results to prove it.

Check the latest review in this site as well. A BA in Florida also appears to think it shouldn't taste like green apple and sour. Could be isolated tho... Maybe he bought his bottle in Indianapolis.

I did not try contacting them as I didn't know who they were on this site. It was a couple weeks ago at a party I opened mine and it's been a busy holiday. Cheers and Merry Christmas all!

cognac jesus is the most insanely delicious stout ive had, and thats after i waited 30 minutes in line for the disappointment that is CBS.

 

Did you get the DBJ? I lucked out when we were visiting this summer and got the very last bottle from CBX. In HI, we get the regular variants of the Evil Twin line, but no BA variants. Still nice to see "Brewed and Bottled at Westbrook Brewing in Mt. Pleasant, SC" on boxes here though.

 

I was able to get a bottle of the fist batch.

 

Had a bottle of this last night that my cousin had shared with me. One of the best barrel-aged imperial stouts I have ever had. Incredibly smooth with a fudgy / chocolatey hit first then small hints of coffee and cherry. Incredible beer. Worth seeking out for sure
