Abyss in Michigan or Ohio

I heard it's supposed to hit distro here in NW OH this week.

 

Which county?

 

The Abyss will not be available in Ohio this year as the ABV exceeded the 12% cap. Some stores did receive their shipments but had to pull it from the shelves and return it to their distributor.

 

Awesome...just another reason this flippin' law needs to pass sooner than later.

 

*SUPPOSEDLY* There are stores that are not pulling it. Which stores those are (and whether it's true) are subject to debate.

That said, I don't see the love for Abyss. It's decent, but not more than decent, and there's better available from breweries here in Ohio (Dark App, Dire Wolf, Blackout, Ink, to name a few).

 

Here in Columbus, I've heard that there were still quite a few stores that hadn't pulled it. I bought a bottle a few days ago, and that was after I read another thread on BA that Abyss was already being pulled from the shelves so I'd guess it's still available if you look hard enough for it.

 

Abyss won't likely hit Oakland/Macomb until the beginning of the year, heard there were some TTB issues
