You are too kind sir! I can't believe I didn't put any farmhouse/saisons in your box. That too can be fixed.
I know of a couple. The one I'm really excited about is The Collective Brewing Project. Is it weird that I'm thinking about enrolling in their crowler club program just so I can ship their crowlers to you maniacs?
Is @Smarty_Pints alive? It doesn't look like he has posted on the site since 12/14 but his profile shows that his last activity was "a moment ago"

Great Box @Fallingcycle
I always enjoy trying beers that are new to me, doesn't really matter how well they rate. I'd love to try some more Cycle stuff, especially the stouts. Same for some of the harder to get FB stuff. I had my first Grimm brew last night, Double Negative, and was very impressed so would love some more of that. Haven't had much Pipeworks, would like to try more of those hop bombs. De Garde is always welcome, only tried a couple but loved them. Haven't had any Trillium. Would love to try more TH and Lawson's too. I did make it to Hoof Hearted for the first time yesterday. Stopped in for the Equinox release and grabbed a case (12 of which will be going to the SWTFYW 3.0 bottle share). I've had 4-5 brews for there and they are legit. Hope to get some in boxes going out to you folks sooner than later (about 90 minutes from me).. (and I just missed @Elkevjoe I think... we had been in the car for about 4+ hours and I had my 2 kids so I ran in, bought beer, and left, trying not to make eye contact with anyone and get stuck in a conversation!) Cheers fellas, love the boxes from round 2.....
Time for the next round of #GIF (Growler It Forward) Ok Guys, BM your info (name, address, etc) with the subject 'GIF' if you'd like to be involved. I'll keep sign ups open until Friday 1/1 at midnight. The plan is to: Fill up the growler with a quality beer from a local brewery Ninja off to a random member in the GIF Once they get it, they drink the growler and post a #VBS, once empty sign the growler with the sharpie / pen included. Additionally, there will be a wrapped "challenge" bottle in the box. There will a typed up challenge that must be completed and proven prior to unwrapping and drinking the bottle. If you complete the challenge please replace a new challenge and bottle prior to shipping along the new box. If for some reason you cannot video or take a picture of yourself doing the challenge due to job reasons, well think up a more appropriate challenge. It would be great to try and turn this around quicker and lastly have fun. This is open to anyone who participated in the first round of the Newbie BIF or signed up for the second one.
Definitely. Another BA'er (@gjoker321) is going and I'd planned on buying him a beer. Looks like I have two beers (at least) to buy. Two handshake ticks in one day, should be fantastic.
To all you Texas guys, heard your weather is about to turn nasty. Stay safe and hunker down...hopefully your cellars are full. BTW, do you have cellars in Texas or do you do the Floridian cellar aka the garage fridge?
I'd be surprised if there were any cellars....it'd probably be a really old house. I just use the regular fridge for now. and yes, it got pretty ugly out in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. Hopefully @pnelting is alright and didn't have much damage.
Yeah here in the Dallas area it was crazy this weekend. Thursday, Friday, and even Saturday morning were hot High 70's then followed by thunderstorms and tornados Saturday night. Sunday morning and today as well it's just cold and miserable.. Definitely stout weather now...
In the new year, I'm hoping to try more sours and farmhouse stuff. Thinking along the lines of Casey (especially the Fruit Stand beers), de Garde, etc. Love to do some trades with you Texas guys, too.
Any of you from Houston? As an urban planner, I look at Houston with curiosity/amazement/condescension seeing as they're the only modern city in the US without zoning.
#vbs Started this one last nite but gave up early (not in a drinking mood) Thanks @Yourahoser some good beers from these guys
I have been lucky enough to try a few random gems from trade extras and BIF beers that blew me away. My only Trillium experience is DDH Melcher Street and it was the best IPA I have ever had. My only Other Half experiences were from this BIF, and they were awesome. I have not had any Treehouse. I want to try a slew of the Trillium, Other Half, and Treehouse offerings. Artaic, DDH Congress St, DDH Melcher, Mosaic, more AGE, and Alter Ego come to mind pretty quickly. I just received a Rare Barrel Map of the Sun in a trade and I hope to find some more Rare Barrel offerings. Also would like to try something from Casey, SARA, and Crooked Stave.
