It's not. This beer is aged in 45th Parallel Rye and Wheat Whiskey barrels.

    From their Facebook page:

We'll also have a 2014 version of the FSB (Smoked Imperial Stout!) that we aged in a Maker's Mark barrel for most of last year. Only one keg of that remains...

This must have been the beer I had at red cow north loop that I didn't like. Crossing my fingers that the 2015 edition is much better!

Is Abrasive still readily available in most stores? Got a buddy there, and wanted him to grab me some without having to really hunt.

Yep. Make sure to check the dates though, a lot of us would agree the October and early November cans have really fallen off.

I would agree that looking for fresh is always best, but I would say that Abrasive is a hoppy beer that weirdly does not fall off that much. I've had nearly year-old cans that are still excellent.

Did MN see the Boulevard Thrillogy box?

    This one?

If so, it was at Costco Maplewood and SLP earlier in the month. The SLP one did not have any more on the shelves when I went back on Wednesday.

Same here. It's like some kind of weird, undead relic. It just never seems to go bad.

Cellars and Top 10 in Woodbury each have a few 4 packs of Pseudo Sue left. Both have 12/10 dates.

I came across some harvest ale today. Bottled on September 30, 2015. Do the hops really fall off this beer?

I personally thought that beer had fallen off quite a bit by the end of October, so if it was me, I would pass.

Any Azacca sightings in the area yet?

Founders Harvest Ale? I'd also pass.

Yep, Founders Harvest Ale. Good, that was my thoughts too so I left it there.

Rum River Wine and Spirits in Ramsey got it in last week. You may want to call, to find out if there is any left.

Couple cans of Death By Coconut, Xocoveza Charred, and plenty of Abrasive at Princetons.
