Hoof Hearted

Just went and looked and those are the kids. Just disgusting how little attention was paid to watching them. Any number of things could have happened to them.

 

I think I take beer way too seriously sometimes...and then I see shit like that.

 

How is the equinox drinking? Is it good now, or best to sit on it a bit?

 

This makes me almost feel sick to my stomach for those poor kids.

 

Bringing children to a beer release is questionable, bringing them to a beer release in shitty weather is stupid, leaving them unattended is cause for lots of scorn. I hope somebody is calling him out on that site. I'm from Columbus I wonder if I know him.

 

I'm pretty sure I know who the guy was as well I'll have to check fb to see how things played out or the brighter side looks like Ollie's got quite a bit of the hoof hearted release for those that didn't attend

This is pretty sad. I wouldn't take my childhood dog to a beer release in the rain. Let alone my 2 children (I have a 8 and 11 year old).

WTF is wrong with people????

 

Yeah, me and my friends noticed this and were thinking WTF the whole time. Why would you bring young kids in shitty weather to a beer release? I actually noticed a few kids were there which doesn't make any sense, but oh well I guess.

 

I'm willing to cope with shitty weather for Hoof beer. Making some kids that have zero interest in Hoof beer suffer through that appalling weather to get some is beyond the pale.

 

All of that combined with losing them twice that I know of due to initially not having them follow him where he went, then just losing them outright due to heaven knows what just made my stomach turn. My wife and I just found out that we have our first on the way and my older brother who was with me just welcomed his second son about four months ago. Neither of us could even imagine things going down like that if it were us. So many terrible things could have happened to those poor little babies. I'm so glad that at the heart of it all, MOST of the members of the beer community are really good people that look out for one another.

 

I got there around noon and right when I got inside there was a woman standing near some small children and she was just going off about how irresponsible the children's dad was. I remember thinking that it seemed inappropriate that she would slander the children's father and use some very, uh, "adult" language in front of them, but hearing now that this dude had just been straight up ignoring his kids the whole time I can definitely empathize with her (she should have handled it better but I can understand now why she was so angry).

In any event besides that it was an awesome time and the beer is fantastic!

 

Any word when the Italian Village taproom is supposed to open? Hoping to take my birthday festivities the weekend of 1/23 from the Wolf Ridge bottle release To the newly opened HH taproom!

 

Now I heard from someone who spoke with Trevor directly that it will be Wangbar, not SoE...

So we shall see when they formally announce it... I hope it is something new though!

It was not one kid or two kids, there was a bunch of kids running around. If they were outside in the woods on a nice day I get it, but to have to sit there all afternoon while your parents and a bunch of other assholes get wasted is pretty sad.

They all seemed incredibly bored most of all, so much so that I actually brought my little dog over for them to meet.

 

Your brother in law shoulda let you know after the 2nd one they watch themselves.

Where where you in the late 80's in the dive bars of West Cmeveland? Would of loved to play with a dog!

 

Obviously I'm kidding around guys. Haven't been to a hoof hearted release cause I have kids. One day they will move out and I'll have my chance!

 

Ray, my dog goes to most releases in the area, just look for the long haired dachshund.
