I just recently sent numerous boxes out for trades and my shipping was around $150. I was thinking.. damn $150 just in shipping plus the cost of all this beer. Were crazy for trading beer, but I guess if you want to try good beer not available in your state.. that's the price we pay.

Too true, you should try sending from Australia:slight_smile:

I just look at it as a hobby that i enjoy. Once i stop enjoying it, its time to get out.

Honestly I don't think shipping is that expensive unless you're doing it constantly. I go in spurts, sometimes I'll ship alot and other times I'm completely content with my cellar and I don't feel the need. I shipped once to Europe and that was pricey, but I got so much great stuff in return that I can't complain.

    That's why I stopped trading.

Thinking about it id rather go to get a few pints at a bar than trade now.. I have a few other trades set up that Im going through with but after that im sticking to 1 trade a month if even that.

I ship through work so get a discount, but still only trade in spurts.
