I thought it went very well. Arrived about 4:20, chatted with Marc for a bit, got my O'so, then my FF (loved that they had everything so well organized) and was out the door and back in Madison by 6:30. Wish I could have hung out and enjoyed the taps but needed to get home.

I don't go to a lot of releases so I can't compare to much but overall I thought it was a very easy and well run process. The biggest problem was not planning on how I'd carry 2 cases to the car, but a kind soul with a hand cart loaded one for me and made life a lot easier.

Things were smooth at most of the spots. They opened the floor the largest I've seen, with bottle pickups and the band 'stage' in the back of the brew house. Many different stations set up: two separate sampling booths, bottle return, cash bottles (Oso) BPT bottles (FFG). Plenty of staff around, clearing glasses and trash, everyone worked hard. The only gripe I had was with the bar. They had three bartenders pouring all of the beer; one was doing just samples, one was just pints, and the third kinda bounced between. I know the space behind the bar is limited and it gets congested when multiple people are flying all over. I waited in line three times, and two of them I left to go back to the bottle share at my table. But that aside the night was perfect and I had a great time. The string band played a lot of Grateful Dead so we were getting down. Always fun up at Oso, cheers to the crew for a great night!

I actually decided to not buy the bottles when tax was mentioned.

Anyone know why Arbre Qui Donne was $20 at the brewery, but now only $16 on store shelves? It's great, but I bought 5 bottles at the brewery...

Makes me glad I only bought one at the party. I'll likely grab a few more now at the reduced price.

I'm guessing they didn't want to undercut their distributors on price, but $4 is a pretty big gap. Sheesh.

Has anyone seen Arbre Qui Donne on shelves anywhere between Appleton and Kenosha recently? Would love to stop and grab a couple bottles tomorrow.

Are you referring to Arbre Qui Donne that is all over Madison for around $15-$16?

Door Kriek is being released at the O'so sour release on January 29th.

Arbre Qui Donne was an O'so specific release, not FF... Pretty Beer...

It's interesting that Scarlet letter is an O'so only beer this time around. It should be interesting to crack a new bottle alongside the original release and compare. I'm excited for the upcoming release though, there's some good stuff being released! Also, they seem to be stating that door kriek is a collaboration between O'so and ffg a lot more than they usually do (I think all ffg bottles list O'so and ffg on the label). Not sure if that means anything but it's interesting.

Where are you staying, and are you guys planning on hitting O'so early in the day or sometime in the evening?

I'll very likely be at O'so during that timeframe too. Not exactly sure how many folks will be with us yet, but we would be happy to share a few bottles.

Interesting to see O'so will be selling bpt tickets for Arbre Qui Donne for $21.69 after fees...:astonished:

I thought that was really weird too, last I checked I could go grab a bottle from my local Madison bottle shop for like $16.50 or something. But I'm mainly excited for the return of Scarlet letter and for bottles of blood of the cherry, I had the latter on tap at the anniversary party and really enjoyed it!
