PP had it Monday with cases left.

 

Sadly no luck. Tried WF P Street as well and they still have BGBS and CM but no GBS. Lol, who would have thought the pallets of GBS 2 weeks ago would disappear!

 

I think they are going to growler fills there too, but your right, it is going to take a considerable sales volume to keep it worth the investment. Maybe they got a good deal on the rent or something since retail in that area is difficult (I mean how many yoga places can you possibly have!). With the Wendy's/Wells Fargo soon to disappear hopefully that will not affect them. I live within walking distance and hope they can make it work as it will be a cool shop close by.

 

Downtown Crown in G'Burg is tapping a keg of Abraxas and DC Brau OTWOA Imperial IPA on Friday at 5 PM (no growler fills on the Abraxas)

 

Has anyone seen CR WnB in MD outside of Perfect Pour? Looks like it came and went @ PP and I figured it would show up a week or so later everywhere else but haven't seen it anywhere else and the various places I've stopped by recently all seem to have no idea about it/when it might arrive. I haven't seen any posts about it showing up at the usual places in VA either yet.

I know it's a white whale hunting crowd in here, but the new Southern Tier 2XSmash 6 pack I grabbed yesterday at Perfect Pour was freakin awesome. Just a beautiful all Mosiac DIPA. Fresh 6 packs of Alpine Duet and Hoppy Birthday also great to see. Got a single of each just to try in 12oz form. Anyway--Happy New Year DMV beer friends!

 

rodmans had a bunch of regular GBS and christmas morning last night.

 

So whats the verdict on the Alpine 6-packs? I'm willing to plop down the $15.99, but only if it's the real deal.

 

As of about an hour ago, Lighthouse in Baltimore had Velvet Merkin, Helldorado, and Black Ops behind the counter and 6 pks of Bell's 30th and the Alpine stuff.

 

Costco in Winchester (yes, redneck central) had Love Child #6 for $16 a bottle...a couple cases left as of Tuesday...

Would think that other Costco's in the area have it as well...$16 is pretty cheap from what I've seen.

 

Just curious, how do you know when they have stuff at the customer service desk? I go in there a few times a week and never realized they were doing this.

As a matter of fact, I was there Tuesday and left w/out buying anything, but definitely would have bought one of those...

 

I think it's been said many times here that what we're getting was all brewed at Green Flash. The one in California, not the not yet in production VA one. Does that make it not the real deal?

The Hoppy Birthday and Duet six packs are $11.99 here in VA. The Pure Hoppiness is $17.99. I had a sixer of Pure Hoppiness, it was pretty damn good.

 

I don't know, that's why I asked. Being that I've never had the original, I wouldn't know if the one brewed at GF is some cheap watered down imitation. But thanks. You kinda answered my question..
