I've seen this the last few releases, other than the noon release. Not sure if it's causing OH problems, but it seems somewhat regular at this point. Then again, I live in the city nowhere near a brewery and there are empty beer cans on my block (and all sorts of other trash). So maybe nobody cares?

FWIW, I prefer OH to Tree House, Trillium, and Hill. IMO, the only brewery that might be better is Alchemist.

Re: rude Taproom staff. It's NY, what do you expect? Classic fuck you attitude. The cap thing sucks but there has to be some onus on you to make sure your caps are not cracked/properly fit the growler and that its not leaking when you receive it at the bar. Sure they would have fixed it with an attitude of course.

Worst experience I've ever had was at broken goblet in PA. Was pretty much laughed at for asking if the beer I was served was supposed to taste like cigarette ash. Miserable assholes working there, I would take the OH fuck you attitude over those giblet ********ers any day.

Parking at McDonald's is probably not gonna fly much longer. The manager walked into OH to complain. Beware.

These assholes will just move on to the next hot brewery when the times comes and never return to Other Half, they could give a shit about the neighborhood, other patrons or Other Half.

So many great things about craft, but the asshole element of people sucks.

I'm driving back to NY right now from a New England trip and have 11 cans of TH Juice Machine, I would trade every single one of them for OH Mosaic.

As has been stated multiple times, OH beers need at least a week from canning to settle.

Yeah, I arrived at 920ish and was among the last to get full allotment Suparillo. I would've been kind of annoyed about the cash line. Maybe they can post that this will be a new thing? If it means swinging by the ATM on the way there to maybe save a few minutes, I'm down.

In regard to service, I've never had anything but great service from the bar staff while ordering drinks, growler fills, etc. A keg has kicked a couple times during an order and I've always gotten the pour for free. The guys filling can orders are always great as well. Other than the lines, I enjoy going to these releases.

I cracked a Suparillo and didn't find it particularly boozy. I'm getting lots of grass and citrus and definitely enjoying it.

I have no idea. They are always brewing up something new, so I would expect more new cans.

I don't know if I'd say super boozy (at least in my opinion). Definitely some heat though, a lot more pleasant than GD in my opinion. I will be sitting on them a week or so now too as all and see what happens cause the taste is awesome.

Just cracked open my first Suparillo. Very good beer, but it's still a bit too green for my liking. Tastes like it needs some time to smooth out. Other than that, it's another great offering. Really excited to see how it develops.

Forever Ever is also tasting great. Reminds me of a grassier/less fruity Baby Diamonds with a nice dry finish.

Good show, Other Half. As usual.

Drinking a can of F.E. now. I think this is one of the better batches of F.E. in a while. Very hop forward with the malts kicking in at the very end for some balance.

So I went w/ plan B because sometimes you have to react to a situation
Thought I'd be haveing OH cans for New Years instead I had to settle for a few growlers or Rushing Duck (my first)
Backed it up w/ some Pipeworks and Captains Daughter and a Cherry Stout
Never saw the Belt or BQE....I'm pretty happy w/ myself
    Its just beer...Cheers

If you get curious/desperate and are near the UWS hit me up. Someone helped me out with getting cans for a review write-up and I can spare one.
