    Revolution Blue Gene is next for me. This is an amazing beer. The blueberries mix so well with the oaking.

    Buzz feels lost now guys.. Sorta sad to call this one not as good as I expected

    Spent 13 months in my own fridge. barrel influence is minimal. If anything, it feels watered down. That can be a good thing I suppose if a 12.1% beer doesnt taste so heavy. But the flavors seem totally muted. Spent a grip 2014 black friday for a 17 oz pour. I feel I need my Parabola connects to come through for much much more. Same price, better ounceage.


    Bottom line, nothing wrong with 4 packs of year round old rasputin, which seems to have much more flavor. Holding onto stuff sucks. It is rarely THAT much better. New years resolution. Don't hoarde anything. Cellaring is nearly a gimmick given the time taken to do so. Finding old bottles on the shelf already aged for you is key. Usually only $1-2 more per bottle per year.

    Good evening, BA's! I'm working this weekend, so I decided to go light for Style Tick #90: Lambickx, brewed in 2013, aged on French oak, bottled in 2014. Does it count as going light if you drink the entire 750 in one sitting? This is so good that I'm already halfway there.
