We do still sell bottles and growlers, we have a separate retail section. Beer from the retail area cannot be taken to the beer hall side. The beer hall is kid friendly.

Visited the Beer Hall last night. Really nice spot they have. Beers are affordable and the food is solid. Parking could be hectic on a busy evening, but a little exercise never hurt!

 

I'm calling it: gingerbread framinghammer.

 

Here are the ingredients they're using. Still using cocoa nibs and coffee but with some new things. I like orange & chocolate together...

 

Same here. Went last night - great spot - the lot on the corner of Bishop was fairly empty. When I left around 7 there might have been 20 cars in it.

 

According to their website, Chipotle BA Framinghammer is going up soon.

 

Chipotle BA Framinghammer is on tap now. Had it yesterday while there. The spice/heat compliments the BA Framinghammer perfectly.

 

Pretzels are really good. Nice soft pretzel chew and flavor. Just need to be bigger for me to order again though.

Beer Hall question:

Am I reading the website right? No lunch hours on Saturdays? Has this changed?

I was trying to head down there tomorrow and lunch is more conducive to a family visit. If not, I don't know what to do! I was promised a beer-related lunch. Getting bottles would have been a bonus!

 

Yes, they offer lunch on Saturday. Been there at that time myself.

EDIT: Just a heads up, when I was there last week their bottle selection was slimmer pickings that unusual - the holiday rush hit them hard. The selection currently posted on their website is old (12/17)

 

I think the confusion is probably that this page http://jacksabby.com/visit/ differs from the hours on the menu http://jacksabby.com/visit/#menu . So on the menu it looks like there is no Saturday lunch.

 

Hmmm this concerns me. Was hoping for some of their bigger offerings like Lager Ness

 

Once I was there there at 1pm on a Saturday and was told they had already switched over to the dinner menu. I've also noticed the bottles list isn't updated regularly, so I just wait to see whats in the coolers when I get there. It's usually a good assortment.

Sad to say but the lagerness is gone. So disappointing as that seemed to last forever and I kept thinking I would go back and pick up a few more bottles. But no more.

 

I don't go often enough, but the Blood Orange Leisure Time sounds delicious.

 

For anyone who's stopped by recently - if they have something listed as available "To Go" on the website, does that generally mean growlers, or bottles as well?
