In January, Prairie will be releasing "Ape Snake," which will be a Dry Hopped Dark Farmhouse Ale.

In addition, Barrel Aged Bomb (Whiskey Barrels) should be releasing a little later in the month.

Ape snake sounds awesome. Cool artwork as well. I'd buy some for sure

IMHO, Bomb! is much more flavorful than Christmas Bomb! Looking forward to BA Bomb!

Is this BA Bomb the same BA Bomb that came out in 2014? The Balcones barrels?

I don't think so; I feel they would have marketed that on the label if that were the case. I think this is more the equivalent of Fred's blend.

I have some Christmas Bomb! at my store. Only received one case and horded it for a month or so. My old employee bought one and said it was "OK". A regular said last years was better. I have no idea but hopefully I'll get a case of BA Bomb!

Fred's was a Double Barrel. This seems more similar to Balcones, though not Balcones Barrels.

Stoked! Hope I can find a bottle of BA Bomb.

Christmas Bomb was good but regular is much much better

I think this opinion is an exception to norm (2014 Christmas Bomb being better than 2015). If you tried 2014 Christmas Bomb and thought it sucked or wasn't good (me and many, many others) then give 2015 a shot. The new recipe did it wonders.

Seconded. 2015 Christmas Bomb is one of the best Prarie beers I've had, period.

3rd'ed! It is great. Though hadn't had one before picked a couple up over the holidays and was really impressed. I could certainly see how treating the base stout as sensitively as possible when dealing with such potentially overpowering flavors is crucial. Great recipe.
