I'm thinking about taking a stab at a box of Kuhnhenn. Mainly looking for a few bottles of the BA BW, BA 4d, 4d, and some other tasties from them. I've been watching the boards for it lately and even searched for older trades, but not much is really coming up to give a clear idea on what the going rate is. Seems........elusive.

Is it mostly brewery only? Are the BA'd brews crazy limited? What other bottles by them are worth checking out?

I'm looking at mostly SoCal limited stuff to put up if that narrows it a bit. BM me, or hit up below to toss around your thoughts.

    Thanks fellas!

4D will be the easiest to trade for as I gets limited distribution. BB4D was brewery only last year, but it lasted for a bit at the brewery. BBBW is brewery only and it went faster than BB4D and is harder to trade for. Limited stuff from Cali will get you the 4D and BB4D. It will take a little bit more IMHO to get BBBW. You could also always wait until the Winter Solstice party in December when it gets released. It should be easier to trade for then.

Ditto. If you wait til the Winter party it shouldn't be too hard to get any of the beers you mentioned (assuming it lasts as long this year as last). At this point it might be harder to find since the brewery has been sold out of last year's batch for awhile. Good luck!

If you like meads too, try to get some of those included. I've enjoyed the few I've had, but they are pricy, around $10-12 for a 6 oz bottle.

Cool. Looks like Winter Solstice party in December is the time to make some moves.

I do dig meads, but it's been a while. I'll def keep that in mind when setting something up.

Thanks for the info. Not sure what sizes, but my tasting group just scored like 20 different varieties. Should be an intersting night.
