holy shiiiiit. so many brews in one day. making a list of the must tries. this should be very interesting. what's the plan? every body hit different lines and split the booty? that's our game plan.

 

Planning to be at Peg's early evening, then CCB to end the night prior to the AM festivities.

 

I had a trade that fell through....if anyone is interested in a 2011 Dark Lord please feel free to make me an offer...

 

I was thinking about bringing some Hopslam and maybe some Brian Boru but I wouldn't have a way to keep it cold from Fort Myers, where I'm driving up from. I was thinking of maybe stopping by a local place and bringing a 4 pack of something there instead, so I might do that since it's easier.

I wonder how they're going to do the barrel aged Hunahpus. Those have to be the most sought after beers, it's going to be insanity when they get tapped.

Gunhaver, or someone else in the know... Is there going to be tents covering most/all of the parking lot? I was just checking out the forecast, and it looks like rain is pretty likely.

 

It's Florida, rain is always pretty likely.

 

I lived in FL for over 20 years. I realize there are afternoon showers that come and go. The forecast is for rain, not just scattered showers.

 

I just checked, and it was showing a 30% chance of rain in the afternoon, which is basically the forecast every day here in Tampa.

 

Btw guys, if I go into the bathroom and see anyone filling little handbottles from their glass... I'm going to slap the beer out of their hand, and then slap them across the face.

So don't get slapped... friends don't let friends handbottle.

 

When forecasters in FL say 30%, 40%, or 50%, they're basically saying they have no idea what's going to happen.

If you really want to know the weather make sure to check local sites. The national weather sites ALWAYS F* up our forecasts. That being said the local guys are saying 30% chance of rain...

 

Any of you kids hankering to try some Roosevelt, the CCB/Swamp Head collab brewed up in Gainesville? It's the American barley wine brewed with pecans. Can bring some in my cooler if there's interest in sharing. Looking to possibly meet some folks who'd like to share and hang out in chairs in-between crazy tappings. Planning on bringing other stuff (Brute, anyone?) , but was gauging interest on this particular brew.

 

Anybody here planning on sticking around until 7 and not getting a case (assuming it's still available)? I'm dying to try this beer and I'm looking for someone to pick me up 2-3 bottles if it's still available after 7. I'd gladly make it worth your while via trade or I can just pay you to be my mule.
