FYI Target sells 2 packs of Pacifiers for 18months and Up, just in case you bite thru the first one from all the stress!

The Worst time to pick up beer is when Initial Packages are released and during Black Tuesday week!

Could someone heading to the tasting room when it opens report back on how the crowd is and whether there's a food truck there?

I'm not going today but I highly doubt they will have a food truck at opening. I don't think I've ever seen that.

No food truck. Just drove by and there's already about 10-15 people lined up out front. Glad I'm not going today, gonna be crazy.

@mattolesh Can we get some clarification on if the new allocations will be on today or not?

Scotch kicked already. Dogzilla truck is out front. Not too crowded for a Sunday but the line is about to the men's room now.

Just left and really no lines. Found seating and enjoyed a nice afternoon. Also had Trois Poules Francais in addition to the others listed.

    Cheers!

Right, I guess I wasn't clear enough, I was asking if allocations would be on tap. MW, Les Ronces and Scotc Poterie were up there, so that's what I was looking for. LR was great!

Great welcoming day, I love how Les Ronces tasted along with the homebrew batch #1731. Kevin from Cellador ales did a awesome job with that, a lot of brett. Thanks Matt and Elise for getting the society cards handed out so quick

Also, I hope Room For Me is available for RS

Society N00b question: I know Black Tuesday and Mocha Wednesday are part of what you get with RS, what about Grey Monday and Chocolate Rain? Are those allocations we're given as optional buys?

Historically, yes. There is no release list for 2016, but I don't see why they wouldn't do again since theyve been annually released since their initial releases.

Wait, this is a thing? Unless it's a ticketed event, the card is only good for the member with the name on it.

Also, 2 hours? That's really not that far to be honest. Roughly 5-6 hours to drive to The Bruery, spend an hour in OC, and then drive home can easily be done on any day, even after work.

Sure, The Bruery dropped the ball about the information not being passed down to the previous members, but saying they have shitty customer service because of this is insane.

Honestly, this is more bad timing than anything. If you had gone the previous Sunday, or the next Sunday you would've had no problems. It boils down to you wanting to use your buddies RS/HS card, which you're not supposed to use, to get pours and access to an event you're not paying for thus aren't allowed to enjoy. So, if you had been a little less greedy and gone ANY other weekend, you would've had zero problems picking up your beer.

I was only going to go as he, and another friend were already heading up from San Diego. It just so happened that this was happening on SMS (a new thing) on the day I already planned on going. My buddy informed me of it being closed for members party and offered to bring me along as his guest when I said there was no point in me going.

My buddy has had multiple memberships in years past and has permission to bring a guest because of this. No one is trying to sneak into an event that they are not allowed to. I don't know why I'd expect someone on BA to find out information first before talking out of their ass on something that they don't have a clue about though.

If you don't have a card with your name on it, sms or smm aren't for you, it doesn't matter if you paid a baby sitter, rescheduled surgery, rented a limo to make the drive and your buddy has multiple accounts. I've done my fair share of bruery complaining , but this is a non issue. when it comes to getting allocations into customers hands, the bruery does a great job. Sounds like the bruery is trying to streamline things for 1 week out of the year and you're trashing them for it. let it go.
