I got my box from @pnelting today. this man knows how to pack some boxes. and also sent some amazing beer! The photo quality can not compare. this is just my phone with bottles laying on my bed where I unpacked everything. first- the locals that he picked out for me. Saint Arnon Art Car IPA- sounds great. I love getting people's local IPAs. 2 coffee porters. one from community and one from real ale. looks like a side by side is needed when the 12 DoX is over. Next is BA Legion- This is the only beer I have had from the box. I think it came from @Avelasquez80 during round 1 of the Newbies and I gave it a 4.5- so bring it on. will be the second time having the BA version without trying the regular. Last is black quad from real ale- I got a few real ale beers from the first round of newbies- all with a different twist on a style and this is no different. and quad was the style that got me really into craft beer. looking forward to them! Now to the reason I reached out for a trade in the first place. I was looking for a Sin Mint because I think it sounds amazing and I have seen them being sent around. I had no idea on the difficulty of getting them, but @pnelting checked a few stores and one still had one left- it was almost too late! And while waiting for fresh carton cans for me to send him, he lets me know the BB temptress came out and picked me up one if we wanted to expand. so glad he thought of me. and then he adds on mole!!! I dont know if he knew it, but he just completed the temptress series for me so far. I had the raspberry a year or so ago as an extra in a trade and loved it. I got the regular in round one and tried the french quarter at @LehighAce06 's house a month or so ago. Didnt love the chicory in that one, but these flavors are right up my alley. Is that all of them? I cant wait to open these. and I got a tired hands growler going out to him because I sent 2 boxes to him with no TH. it is one of their most popular IPAs that I think they may start canning soon. I will try to get that box out monday.
Glad you like. Throw that BA Legion in your cellar and I'll get you a regular Legion for next time. I checked your Untappd and saw that Mole would be the only missing tick for the series and happened to stumble into a liquor store that I've been meaning to check out and there it was. The Real Ale and Community coffee porters have been compared to each other a lot. For me Community is the winner with a better mouth feel and more coffee up front. @Eziel preferred it too when I sent both in the GIF box. Curious to see what you think. Cheers!
#VWS It's stout weather. Finally. To celebrate some cool weather, I made some chicken chili (but not Texas chili) and added a CCB Maduro Brown Ale.

#VBS First time having this and wasn't sure if I would care for it since I'm not really into barleywines. It's delicious! Never had this fresh, but I can't imagine it would be any better. The sweetness is well balanced with hints of toffee and caramel. The barrel is really mellow and smooth.
I'm crossing my fingers that I can get tickets tomorrow - hoping to make the trek out there from Texas!
Yea, Strawberry sour. It was announced Friday that it was being released on Saturday. It was the first JWB bottle release I made it to. 500 bottle count.
