Oh boy, here we go with the reading too much into things stuff. Relax fellas and please re-read my post, this isn't really something I'm trying to take a hardline stance on here. What I said in the rest of my original post confirms that:wink:

Agreed, and if the beer's good, I really don't care if they're "jacking someone's style" or not.

I hope this beer comes to Michigan at a fair price and in large proportions. I'm not usually amused by Evil Twin's prices.

    I'd expect a $10 per bottle price

I think you are being a bit conservative, I can't see this being less than 14-15 per bottle.

Ha maybe you're right and I'm just hoping, while also wondering if perhaps these are barrels that have held beer previously.??.

Where are you buying their beers at this price point? Or are ET beers more expensive outside of NYC? Although I do agree that $15 for this beer seems about right.

Pretty much anywhere in Michigan. Just saw 12 oz Aun Mas A Cafe Jesus for 18 bucks, The American version was 15.

Oh yea, that one is bad here too I guess, but not that bad. I see it for $8-9 most places in NYC. That's the most expensive 12oz bottle they make that I've seen around though.

Lol that's a rip off even for an evil twin beer. Aun mas cafe jesus was 9.99 in CT.

I'd also expect it to be around $15. BBA biscotti break was $26 for a bomber.

Holy moses, I bought Aun Mas a Cafe for like $7 here in Columbus. If this is more than $10 I will have to pass.

What's up with that? I've never tried an ET beer, nor do we sell any, but I coulda swore they were a US brewery?

I could easily google it, or w-e, but I like to feel like I've boosted another persons ego ! So, inform a brotha!

It is perplexing. I believe the majority are brewed in the US (overwhelmingly at Westbrook) and am pretty certain the owner, Jepe, resides in Brooklyn where he owns TORST. Perhaps the 'business' still 'resides' in Denmark where a loophole of some kind makes it beneficial for him to have 'left' it there? Maybe it was left on as a tongue-in-cheek joke of some kind?

If this follows Dark Horse's rules for barrel-aged distribution, it will not be leaving the state. I work for a distributor who carries Dark Horse, and we don't have any access to any of their fancy stuff. Hopefully they were able to produce enough of it for a wider distribution, but I'm not holding my breath.

It's not a Dark Horse beer.

I understand that. They did brew it though. I can't imagine they magically have the capacity to produce a much larger amount of a barrel aged beer for someone else than they do of their own.
