Regarding Abyss, it hit Sioux Falls yesterday (31st), so you should be seeing it real soon.

 

it hit Hudson on Wednesday. i think someone here posted that its at distribution, just being held.

I'm at Fair State right now, they still have some bottles of their stout for sale. There is a stack of 10-12 cases behind the bar. Some of the boxes that I see are Saison Drei though, so I don't know how many of the stout remain. A decent amount though. Still 1bottle limit. Bottle count was 660 according to FS staff.

 

Anyone have this out of the bottles yet? As much as I love Fair State on tap, the bottles have mostly resembled Dark Fatha for me to date.

Is there any December Abrasive in the wild outside of the north metro?

I've stopped at a dozen stores this week - nothing but November & October cans. One place was out last week & I thought I'd scored - nope, 11/24/15 cans there today.

I'm imagining a football-field warehouse filled with slowly aging Abrasive someplace in the metro. Man, I miss the days of being able to pick up days-old Surly cans.

 

i might try a Costco or Total Wine. they turn over their stock fast and normally have the fresher cans.

Most places I have spoken with said to expect Abyss around Wednesday or Thursday

 

Abyss is at Northgate off Central, but all 10 are accounted for already, I guess. Got denied.

 

looks like Fair State's barrel aged stout is seeing some distro. Heritage posted they have it.

 

Yeah, they told shops not to release it until today. I will have it available tomorrow, as I am off today.

 

Central Ave Liquor has it too.

 

At Princeton's, $18.99, no posted limit. Seemed like a pretty good amount.

MGM?! Are you sure that's not the single bottle price?

 

I bought two 4 packs myself after sitting there in disbelief.
