You will. Otherwise they would be inviting a secondary market which they are specifically trying to avoid by requiring names.

Do they generally add to the brewery list, or is what's currently on the website the final list?

    They'll add as they go

I spoke with Cory of 3 Sons Brewing this AM and he confirmed he'll be pouring, and he is not currently on the list of breweries attending. So it's not the final list for sure.

Do both tickets have to be of the same tier? Would I be able to purchase a $300 and a $200 ticket in the same transaction to receive 12 bottles between the two attendees?

No idea until it goes live but I don't see why not.

hopefully they put both options on the same page with a qty to add to cart option and then you add 1 of each to the cart at the same time. Too many horror stories of people having to add two separate products to carts and ending up with nothing due to lag/delays/server issues. Fingers crossed for all involved.

I will be cutting it close to be home at 6 to get my wife a ticket. I may have to depend on her getting her own ticket, which could be a disaster.

The purchaser can buy two tickets for anyone, so long as the name on the ticket matches the ID when that attendee shows up, correct? I.E. I could buy tickets for my friends (assuming they have issues getting through, and I'm successful) so long as I name them on the tickets at time of purchase??

    That is correct

I'm really hoping it won't be hard to get through though.

Same here, but obviously trying to think ahead... been on the losing end of too many tickets sales to not attempt a backup plan. :stuck_out_tongue:

I read that you need to have the other person's name on the extra ticket and your name on your ticket

"Tickets are limited to two per transaction. You must provide the names of both attendees when checking out. These names cannot be changed.

The name associated with the ticket MUST match the name of the festival attendee. You must have a valid form of identification with a picture to enter the festival grounds. This includes a driver’s license, a state-issued identification card, a passport book or a military identification card. No college IDs, no library cards. If you have a valid ticket but your name doesn’t match, you will be denied entry."

my concern is still about the paying with a check or debit card or whatever. I'm assuming I can use a credit card right? even though there was that little comment about making sure you alert your bank about making a purchase:

"Important note: contact your bank prior to purchasing and inform them that you’ll be paying $200 or $300 to Cigar City Brewing LLC. This prevents any potential fraud pop-ups that could delay your ticket."

I'd imagine this applies IF you're using a debit card and that you can still use credit right?

    any info would be great

    thanks

I bet with that route there will be plenty of tickets refunded in the next week as well that will go up for sale.

For anyone wondering, I contacted CCB today to inquire about credit card sales because my debit card was compromised this week. They replied within about 10 minutes saying credit cards are accepted. Very grateful for the timely response from them and I'm sure others will be happy to hear this info.

It says you have 7 days to cancel orders... I just wonder if you can cancel the guest ticket only if needed...

Haha, Nothing like that. I just want to list a friend as the second ticket in case he can't get to his computer by 6:00. If he DOES wind up getting his own ticket, I'll need to cancel my purchase for him.
