    From the article:
"We’ll be building a courtyard and greenspace that runs along the building to create a dedicated pedestrian path separate from the parking area, and we will begin work on the parking lot upgrades with a long-term goal of increasing parking spaces"

Lack of parking is what keeps me from visiting the brewery again.

Can't be certain if this is facetious or not, but their parking situation is horrendous. Doing loops around tired flaggers when it's crowded is boring and makes me thirsty. Often consider parking at the outlets and hoofing it over.

No, it was a straight faced comment.

My wife and I tried to stop there for lunch. But it turned into "Drop me off to go in and pick up some beer while you loop the parking lot", and then we left. There were 50 cars trying to park in 0 empty spaces.

Parking aside, Troegs is probably the best brewery experience you could ask for. Great food, fast service even when it's crowded, and a good variety of brewery-only beers. I make a point to go every time I visit family in the area.

Love the atmosphere at Troeg's (although I admit the new Victory is superior for both atmosphere and beer!), but parking can be a pain... We always get there early and no issue, but by the time we leave its a mess.

Went to troegs on Christmas eve afternoon and had no issue with parking. Pulled right in and was directed to a spot. Maybe parking karma was on my side that day but nothing seemed crazy about it. Beers were extra good too. Scratch 218 needs to be brewed all year long.

Yes. I think the 218 is at least as good as nimble giant - and a generally available IIPA should be part of the lineup.

I agree that the parking is horrible. I did suggest at one time that they add a couple of "growler fill" spaces (15 min parking). They'll let you do that if you ask the poor folks waving flashlights around.

Such a great brewery to visit and excited to see this work completed. I usually taxi from whatever hotel I am staying at, but glad to see the parking will improve. And adding green space will be welcomed!

Went to Troeg's today and sampled both 215 and 218. I agree with you that 218 needs to be brewed all year long. Great DIPA.

Last I heard from someone that works there is that this has actually been added, though how they monitor/enforce it is beyond me

218 is great, and the parking is as bad as everyone says. Too bad the township won't let them expand the parking lot.

Well, if that's really the case, then Troegs should have considered that when they picked the new brewery location.

Thought the property was some kind of 100 year lease through Hershey Park--that it was on lands they own? This not true?

Could a parking garage be built?

Doesn't really matter who owns it, they would need a permit to expand parking and the township may be concerned with run off from expanding the paved surface.

I'm just trying to settle a personal curiosity, with regard to the ownership.

But my guess would be if Hershey does own it and they want it to happen, with all the green (grass and $$$), it'll happen.
