Westbrook 5th Anniversary

I know back on December 3rd, they posted on their FB page that bottles were going to be released and they were waiting on the labels so I'd expect it to be pretty soon.

 

Any word on whether BA 4th will see any distribution?

 

I've not heard anything on this. My best guess would be that it was brewery only, but that is just a guess. @tjcapture have you heard anything about distro on BA 4th?

 

So is 5th Anniversary ever going to come out in bottles?

 

I would guess otherwise, but it is only that, a guess. There have only been a few brewery only releases from them to date and I know they brewed a TON of 4th anny. Here's to hoping!

 

Man I contemplated a cannonball run to Charleston for that !! Is is still there ?

ha, yeah that's true, @tjcapture has drank more Pappy cake than anyone I know!

 

I drank the 1st one they sold the same day he was there and had 1. Sucka went back for more. Shoot me a message if you know anyone willing to part with 1 of those BA 4th Anniversary

 

I sure hope it does, but if it makes it to GA, I know it will really limited, but maybe I'll still be able to grab a bottle. I seem to remember that they said Perfect Nose was going to be brewery only but then it popped up in distro as well, so who knows. Although I guess Perfect nose got distributed as an Evil Twin Beer as it came the same day as BBA Biscotti Break.

 

I've yet to try it still (Pappy Cake) but I may have to break down and spit a bottle with someone the night before Brewvival.

 

Forget the hype. It's worth it. Best beer I've ever put in my mouth. Period. I swear they barreled Coconut cake and not just the base. INCREDIBLE

 

ha, yeah I've heard others say it's that good as well, I'm sure it is. They did a BA Coconut Cake as well right?

 

i was surprised it was worth the money as well! it was amazing! and yes they did a BA Coconut. i have a growler coming

 

Are they still filling growlers of the coconut cake?

 

don't think they ever were. a friend of mine is friends with the Westbrook family

 

I heard nothing about BA 4th going into distribution. My guess is that it was brewery only, but I wish it would hit distro, would love to get more.

 

They never filled growlers of Coconut Cake for the general public, at least not to my knowledge.

 

My bride loves the Big beers and I have to keep her happy!!!
