If you do pick this up, please be sure you properly brace yourself before drinking any of them.

Farther west, The Vintage in Chanhassen will let you break up any beer package for a single bottle. All bottles are already priced as a singles option in their computer/cash registers. I think for pricing they just take the retail price, divide by the number of bottles in the package and then add a markup of 20% or some %. The remaining singles are placed on their singles shelves for sales to others.

I wish all liquor stores would allow you to just grab a single bottle of anything you wanted to try.

The label says "brewed by alpine beer company" but the bottle has a raised green flash logo embeded in the glass...so, idk how to answer that, but it's tasty!

That would be the green flash brewed...heard things are improving there...That beer therefore should be around (although it may be selling quickly)

its around. Byerlys are normally a good spot to hit for it. we recently saw Hoppy Birthday and Duet sixers hit the shelves, in addition to the bombers. might guess that we see Nelson sixers sometime soon?

I don't believe Alpine is bottling any of the core hoppy beers anymore. Anyways, if it says San Diego it's Green Flash. Alpine would be Alpine, CA.

Is there a reason for the abyss hype this year? Last year it sat on shelves for weeks or months. I heard more barrel aging compared to prior years? I gave up on that beer years ago as it kept getting worse year after year and the price kept going up.

I am aware of those and I can see the hype behind them. Maybe there is less of the regular this year because of the variants?

The largest percentage of that is new oak. Wish they'd do more than 6% bourbon.
