Tröegs Nugget Nectar - 12 oz cans

Look, they will make it this way for 2-3 years, then have a "retro" release with a new can matching the old art.

 

Would love to try this one in a can.

 

I couldn't pretend to not ever be persuaded by a label, and Ill admit that I like this one a lot. Never had had this beer though so perhaps Ill try to find some this year.

 

Where in PA are you?

 

Enough talk about the labels, when is the beer coming????

 

Nugget Nectar hits taps and shelves throughout Central Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, and the Lehigh Valley beginning January 11 and will continue through early February as follows:

• January 18 – Western PA and NEPA
• January 25 – DC, MD and NJ
• February 1 – CT, DE, OH, MA, NC, NY and VA

 

They could come in plastic sippy cups and I'd still drink the shit.

 

Always comes out in the middle of the worst of New England winter, but for some reason NN portends the arrival of spring for me. Just seeing the old logo on a bottle gives me the warm fuzzies.

 

Northeast, about 20 minutes south of Scranton.

 

Oh I am well aware that this brewery doesn't make it to Utah. I have family and friends all over the east and in PA though so perhaps I can go that route.

 

Always look forward to this beer.

 

I have a business trip to Philly in a couple of weeks and if all I manage to find while I'm there is this it will be a successful beer trip.

 

The new can design is beautiful. A major improvement. You guys are crazy.

 

The 12 oz format makes my life easier. I like this beer better in bottles, maybe I'm nuts but it just tasted better to me. Without feeling like I could have gotten more beer by buying cans the decision is simple. Bottles only for me!

Looking forward to the NY release! I've had NN on draft, bottle and can. Can is by far the best!

 

This started popping up on Beermenus yesterday. Anyone pick any up yet, and is it consistent with previous years releases?
