Has anyone notice White Chocolate bottles not getting filled to the foil? I have six bottles and they are filled to different levels. No biggie, just something weired I noticed.

Just placed my first RS order. I went crazy and bought myself a few bottles of Elements of Funk Brett Drei only because I didn't realize it wasn't a new beer and I had clearly forgotten that I had already ordered 2 of them back in December. A costly rookie error....

Bummer. Er, maybe I'll back blend it with some Befuddlement and a little Bois or sumtin.

Awesome, looking forward to this one.

Eh, operative word, booziness. I'll probably pass on extras again this year.

it's a ~20% ABV barrel aged stout. could you expect it to not be boozy?

Update (for any who care)--I was able to fix this since we're still in the ordering period. The Bruery staff got right back to me after I emailed them. Awesome customer service!!!!!

That is the one thing I have noticed as well, they love good customer service. I have only had better service at Pepperbee's!

I just realized something... Pottery is the traditional 9th year gift, 8th year is supposed to be bronze.

The traditional gifts vary by culture and they're following a European model rather than an American list of yearly gifts. I forget specifically which country they're following (or if it's an amalgamation), but you'll notice they've already deviated in past years.

Considering they are all French translations; I'd say this is a safe bet.

I can't find it written out anywhere or I am missing it. Will they be releasing a bourbon version of Poterie and the Scotch is just an early variant?

I think that's a safe assumption since scotch is HS only, I believe.

Definitely French. Patrick Rue is from French decent so it only makes sense

rode the goat last night. good stuff. a tad sweet but amazing barrel character, vanilla caramel etc.. that said, i don't recommend drinking a whole bottle to one's self. beware of the goat

It is stated that scotch could go to RS for second chance sale on their store website. But yes, likely to be other variants for their anniversary beer closer to May.

Not sure, but based on the description I do not believe so.

"Poterie is French for “pottery”, the traditional eight-year anniversary gift. Our eighth anniversary ale, Poterie, follows in the footsteps of our anniversary releases before it, which are loosely based on an English-style old ale and fermented with our house yeast strain. This edition was 100% aged in oak barrels that previously held Scotch, imparting a subtle smoky complexity to complement the robust flavors of toffee, caramel, dark fruit, vanilla and oak. Poterie will age gracefully for decades when cellared properly."

Yeah you are right...and I noticed that as well that from that description it doesn't mention scotch ale...but I thought I had noticed it other places that it would be like a 15% scotch ale...let me do some digging
