From the sounds of it C24 = Fort Point, of which I picked up 5 bottles in a matter of 15 minutes in Canton this afternoon.

Rush for a pale ale? Doubt it, but totally agree, sounds a lot like fort point

Doesn't really sound like Fort Point to me with the exception of the two hops used.

I dont think the style matters. Tree House has all the hype, if its a one-off then I think it will attract people.

I certainly hope not as I will be arriving tomorrow night about an hour before close.

May not be as busy as the holiday times but a sixer of Julius, a sixer of Green, a sixer of a Curiosity offering, and growler fills sure sounds like a good night to most of us. Damn I'm thirsty now!

Well, to be fair they could also pick up some Green which is the best hoppy beer in the state.

C24 shares much in common with Eureka. Wanted more dank from Columbus (~40% of the hop bill) - got what tastes like grapefruit... to me, anyway.

Sounds delicious. "Equal to" was the incorrect phrasing. On the surface they seem similar.

Just had my first Eureka w/ Mosaic. Absolutely loved the Citra version, but as a huge fan of Mosaic I totally LOVED this beer! Perfect summertime sit outside during a BBQ beer! Tree House never fails to amaze

Fucking Columbus is the greatest hop on earth. It's a great hop paired with other hops. It adds a nice non juicy element to IPAs that I enjoy. It's nice and resiny and I will almost always add it to all my hoppy beers.

I have a Citra/Galaxy IPA bittered with Columbus dry hopping right now. Really excited about it.

Since the subject of hops has come up I've been wondering for a while...what gives treehouse beer that bubblegum flavor? Is it one of the hops?

Sounds like more of a yeast thing, but I'm not really qualified to speak with authority on the issue.

Never got a single bubblegum flavor from a TH beer. Might be a you and some few other people thing... Like most taste and flavor related things.

I don't really associate it with bubblegum, but there is a signature note in almost all of Tree House's hoppy beers that I think comes from their yeast.

"A" and "B" will both get you the same number of cans, unless there is a special release (Juice Machine, King Julius, JJJulius, etc) that causes lines to explode between opening and 6pm. If there are any cans left over from the previous Saturday (almost a zero percent chance of this happening anymore) you'll need to get there at least 1-2 hours early for a chance at those, probably 2pp.

"C" will get you lower quantities of whatever can(s) are available Wednesday, with the strong possibility of a new canning run early in the day Thursday. No need to arrive before opening if you don't want to - they'll have the can limits set so Wednesday's leftover cans last at least an hour or more, even with a long line at open.
