That's Stone. Cheap and lazy! Keep digging, Rogelio, I'll get my popcorn.

Ah, I was fooled at first, but the guy that called Stone lazy is a different dude. But of course, I don't know, perhaps this Rogelio guy also insulted you/Stone in a different thread.

Really? Follows the same basic cycle every time.

1- Brewery brews beer that gains hype.
2- Demand exceeds breweries capabilities. People get mad.
3- Brewery attempts to meet customers demands by expanding operations.
4- Beer becomes easier to obtain, and those who complained before about lack of availability now dub it, "overrated."

    Rinse and repeat.

Yea, my liking 12/25/15 the most has nothing to with ANY of that. I just thought it was the best one to date.

It has to do with understanding the Stone hate, not you liking the brew.

you could answer your own question by checking the beers i've reviewed.

and not many hazy IPAs come from California. I'm sure you could name a few but definitely the majority would NOT be hazy. so yes, it seems that Stone is joining the hazy IPA craze that the east coast has been on for a while. sorry if my statement was confusing.

I'll pick this one up if I see it. I hope it's good. I don't mind the regular enjoy by, there's just too many options out there for me to consistently buy it.

Wait so the Unfiltered Enjoy By is a Black IPA too? I was thinking (hoping) it was the normal recipe. Not sure if I'm as jazzed if it's a Black IPA

but if you go back to the original topic there will be no place for unadulterated trolling! are you suggesting everyone sticks to the topic of the thread and just has a normal discussion? Crazy talk. Thats obviously only intended for pages 1 and 2 of any thread on this site! :stuck_out_tongue: I love how people get so upset over someone defending themselves from internet trolls, to the point of boycotting all their beers. That will show them!

Couple of early pics alreay up on Untappd. Not enough to say with certainty, but it DEFINITELY looks hazy. Should hit my local early this week -- looking forward to giving it a go!

    These are two separate beers:
    • 02.14.16 Black IPA
    • 02.14.16 Unfiltered IPA (my understanding is normal recipe as always but unfiltered)
    Cheers!

If that is the case my prediction is that the NE IPA/Northeast Pale Ale mob will be excited about this beer (except maybe for the geography aspect:rolling_eyes:).

    Cheers!
