Some of the TH founders -- Nate and Damien for sure -- have been competitive cyclists. Maybe Brendan, too. Lauren is a strong runner. Lots of endurance sport background in the building, which is why you can buy a Tree House cycling jersey.

oh absolutely. And for the record I certainly wasn't complaining. The flavor is incredibly unique and awesome. I just can't think of a way to describe it other than old fashioned pink bubblicious bubblegum. The reason I asked was because I would like to have more beers like it, so if that was a quality of say, mosaic, I would hunt down beers with that profile.

But, some people have said it might be yeast, which makes a lot more sense.

Amarillo hops can give gumball flavor. 3 floods gumball head I think is all amarillo

Can you buy cans and growlers at TH? Or is your allotment one or the other, only?

You can do both. There is a limit for cans (per beer) which is announced the day of canning (or day before) and the limit will change every day moving forward until that particular beer is gone. Growlers typically range at a limit of 3-5 total. The limit is per person, per day.

Thanks. I am visiting for my first time next month. Did a ton of reading on this, but couldn't figure out since there seems to be two lines, if you were only allowed to get in one or the other.

If you are there at open, there is essentially one line. A staff member will come out before and hand out order cards for you to fill out what growlers you want. Then that line essentially turns into the can line and you can pick up cans while waiting for your growlers to be filled.

If you are there after open, grab an order card and hand that in, then go pick up your cans.

One their thing, if you buy cans and do growler fills, you'll pay in two different locations. They sell the cans right from the canning area using square app/iPad; and then if you get growers you wait in the cashier line to pay on the way out the door for the grower fills. They also sell their merchandise from this line.

And just to note, they seem to have extended their growler-card distribution beyond the opening line. Last Thursday I was there at 7:15 pm and they were still handing out growler cards to the line, rather than allowing patrons to come inside and pick up cards. Just ask at the filler station.

Just wondering what is the possibility that Tree House will eventually start distributing to California, specifically SoCal(San Diego). I know it's a dumb question, since everything sells out within hours. It doesn't hurt to dream, does it?

I guess it's possible, but I would think that is so far off its not even a real discussion. They don't distribute at all other than some occasional kegs going out to a bar or two.

I'd have to say never. They are all about freshness and there is no way they could control that outside of their immediate area

No point in even thinking about it. Modern Times making some tasty stuff, though.

Sorry but they would first have to get this to us in Boston on a consistent basis which has not happened yet without a few times it has been on tap at Row 34 and Publick House.

Does anyone have any idea or guess when the next Good Morning release would be? I have my brothers 40th in April and want to hopefully get him this beer for it, along with some others.

It's maybe 4 times a year they release it. They did it for Extreme Beer Fest in February last year so it may happen again around then. It's on the list for this year but not confirmed for the brewery. They don't announce it beforehand, thank god.

So it's just the luck of being there when it is released? Or is it put up on their twitter/web page the morning of? Just trying to plan a bit as I'm about 3 hours away.
