As a Phillies fan myself, I'm sorry you're going to a game. Enjoy Bern's too. I love that place. If you haven't been there, it is quite an experience.

 

Flyers are in town that night too.

 

They added quite a few good ones since I checked a few days ago! 7th Sun, Smog City, 3 Floyds and Surly!

 

My wife is the Phillies fan and one condition of coming down was that I took her to a spring training game. I'm an Indians fan, which hasn't been much better.

I'm also a Sabres fan, but the thought did cross my mind, especially since the Sabres are horrible.

 

I'm right there with you - my girlfriend won't come unless we see a Yankees game. She's a huge Yankees (shoot me), Bills and Sabres fan. Fortunately, she doesn't want to move from Texas.

 

That is music to my five year strong (+BA 2015) vertical of Darkness! Saves me a trip to MN for a couple of months.

 

Any events Friday? Is cycle doing the BA day now that pegs is closed

 

Also upset that TG won't be pouring any beers definitely looking forward to 3sons

Did TG confirm that they won't be there?

 

Per TG's Twitter from January 6 they were "97% yes!" for Huna Day. Would be a bummer if the 3% won out.

 

My bad. Phone washed out the date.

 

Yep, and other tweets suggested they would be coming. They were asked about other festivals and said they had limited time this year so they chose Huna.

Havron, check the brewery page on the Huna website. They are all there, filter by date, descending.

 

Where'd you hear this? I heard they were probably in not more than a few days ago.

 

Berns is great. The kitchen/cellar tour is cool to see and the Dessert Room is one of my favorite place to go in Tampa. My rule is that I need to order at least one drink from pre-1900 when I go there.

 

Any recommendations on the pre-1900 drink? My beverage knowledge is primarily beer and scotch.

 

looking at hotels in the DT area...any recomendations just outside of DT that is cheaper? have not looked at the hotels over by CCB, but would like to get one in the sub 150 range and i did not see any of those when i filtered it to dt only.
