According to a guy I just spoke with the "vendor" is out of the new bottles so they have no idea when or if they will be getting any.

Specs Arborwalk still had all three about half an hour ago. Picked up Whiskey and Weasel along with Smokestack Stingo, Flanders Fred, and Top Sail.

I just hope the Legislature eventually allows releases at the brewery. I would prefer a great big bottle release party to all this skulking around in liquor stores.

I know I'll be buying pints at the Jester King Tap Room eventually. For now, I await your land-adjoining pizza-tossing friends to open their doors.

Be ready for disappointment. Infected drain pour...at least, my bottle was.

I guess no new sightings in Houston today. Drove around yesterday with no luck. Waiting for a lead before searching again...

HEB Pearland is getting them today. It was posted above. Camp there, acquire the big three.

That's a little out of my search radius, but good to know that HEBs are going to get some.

If you really want it that's where it'll be...don't think distance should matter if you really want the beer! Best of luck on your search.

As of 1230 hours, Gabriel's in San Marcos has Whiskey, Weasel and Bonnie. The Whiskey of course is going fast, I think I saw 6 or 7 bottles left. At least 20 or so of Bonnie and Weasel.

    Good hunting, Gentleman.

Oh I want the beer, but making that drive and going home empty handed would suck too bad.

True, if you know someone in the Pearland area ask them to check for you?

Austin - Just saw a decent amount of Whiskey, Weasel and Bonnie on the shelf at the Brodie Lane Spec's. If you're looking for them they are on the shelf by the other JK bottles.

Beer guy also said BBXXIV could be there tomorrow and that the Sam Adams Fat Jack (or whatever their double pumpkin is) may be a month or so off. He mentioned something aboubt Sam Adam's Belgian 750's coming in before their new 22oz series does.

Those 750's should be the Barrel Room Collection (New World, 13th Hour, and Stoneybrook Red). They've already hit SATX. Fat Jack should be 2-3 weeks away for us, according to GLI. Not sure about Austin because you have a different vendor for Sam Adams.

I would love to, but I'll be up in Michigan/Chicago. Three Floyds, Goose Island, and Founders.

One day I'll make it out to JK. :grinning:

Though I can see how some might think if these limited Jester King beers were brewery only releases that it would probably help spread the number of beers/bottles around more evenly to BA's (that attend the release). But it will also keep a lot of BA's (like myself) that doesnt live anywhere near Austin from getting to try these beers period without having to drive hours, and hours across Texas to get to Austin to make a one day release to only get an allotted 2-4 bottles. (average)

Is it not pretty much the same thing just driving all over town from one local beer store to another to scrounge up the same 2-4 bottles? Though I know some of us (like myself) havnt even got a single bottle. (yet)

To an extent. I think that a brewery release party, followed by distribution a few weeks later, would be a good way to do it. Best of both worlds.

On another note, Spec's Arbor Walk still has all three as of 30 minutes ago.
