We still haven't seen pron posted from @Smarty_Pints or even had confirmation that his box was safely received, although we have confirmation from @JoeyIce3 that it was shipped and delivered, per tracking. As we look forward to round 3, I would suggest not allowing @Smarty_Pints to participate, unless his commitments from prior rounds are fulfilled. Looking back through the thread, there were issues getting a picture posted as well - it did eventually get posted, but was well over a month after the fact. Not trying to start any drama here, but I think at least half the fun of these BIFs are seeing your target receive and enjoy the beer that you sent, so not posting pictures or any followup on enjoying the beer you received really cheats your shipper out of the fun.
Yeah man I was wanting to see pic as well especially since it was the first time I shipped a glass... Just wanted to know it made it safe for future references... I know for sure at least half of the beer made it safe since he's checked them in on Untappd. I've spoken to 2 other newbies as well and realized he posted the rd 1 pic when signups started for rd 2, so maybe when signups start for rd. 3 we get pics...
I'd have to agree. I understand real life takes priority, but it's been the same thing happening for both BIF's. It's more fun with everyone being active and seeing the joy on your target's post when we put's up your box and vice versa. There is no shame in sitting out a round if you have larger responsibilities outside of the BIF forum.
Okay we'll try this again the GIF is on the move. I may have gotten a little carried away as it took two boxes this time. They will arrive one day apart. The GIF and a few extras first and the challenge box second!
This sounds about right, unfortunately. Given that this BIF is specifically designed for newbies and for teaching, I'd rather take this one offline with @Smarty_Pints and give him the chance to talk me through what's going on here before outright restricting his praticipation. If he chooses not to have a dialogue with me, then I'll take that as an unwillingness to follow the guidelines of the BIF and will not include him going forward. @Smarty_Pints please do BM me about this issue, I really would prefer not to keep someone out of participating over something as simple as posting a haul pic.

#CIF is out on a truck or in a sorting facility somewhere. Tried to avoid shipping when it was 9F outside, but gotta get that box moving!
I never hit post, thought I did but after my alerts blew up today, I went back to the forum and the url was still sitting there.
I mean come it takes less time to post a picture of what you than it did to open the damn box. I mean if there is a real life problem take 2 seconds and at least BM your sender.
