Yes, last year they had a big station with the Anniversary Beer & a smaller station with everything else that looked & felt like a mosh pit. Central Waters is great at correcting the boo-boos from previous years, so I hope that smaller station is better organized this year!

I don't typically go for beer ****, but this picture has me feeling beer-curious.

I really like the label, simple and clean.

This is just going to show I am more of a nerd than just a beer nerd, but I really like the images for Ubuntu's Hardy Heron release.

That bottle looks great. Here's a few random things. What hotel is everyone staying at? To someone who knows more than me, what are the chances CW will have the cherry stout available in bottles or even on tap? Also, someone the other day posted in the "post a pic of your latest haul" thread and said they had just bought 4 bottles of Black Gold from the brewery...to that I say WTF? Anyone have insight on that?

Last year I believe they had cherry stout available
They have (had) extra bottles of black gold that was leftover for sale at the brewery
Hotels, we always stay at holiday inn in Stevens point.. They have a schuttle too and from central waters

We had VIP tickets last year and as far as I remember there wasn't any Black Gold last year for sale or on tap. Cherry Stout was plentiful.

We stayed at that Econo Lodge last year, never again. Holiday Inn, in Steven's Point.

Yes I should clarify...the black gold that people are getting was not available at the anniversary party last year...but that years black gold bottle total was less than 500...this year was 3,000 +, so they must have just released some extras yesterday (I would not count on getting some during the anniversary party)

EconoLodge really that bad? I get that people share/BA folks go to Holiday Inn but have a nonrefundable reservation at the EconoLodge in Steven's Point, hope it's not too rough.

It's an expierence, haha. You'll survive. It's sitting at a 2.7 on Google for the rating. I think it was like 60 bucks last year or something, so it's damn cheap. I think Holiday Inn was a hundred, so we're splitting it between four people this year.

It's not that big of deal, but the Holiday Inn is slightly better. The only thing really annoying was a bunch of kids playing in the pool at 6am after I had a long night of drinking.

I stay at the EconoLodge under the theory that my level of inebriation when I arrive back there meshes well with the less than luxurious accommodations.

Like others have said, it's not bad at all if you're just looking for a place to crash; the rooms are clean and no-frills. Besides, after drinking my weight in beer, I'm not looking for a place with ambiance.

What else is sold besides BBS, BBBW, and obviously the 18? Do they have bottles of 17 or Black Gold or Peruvian for sale too?

The won't have those for sale...we probably won't know for another week...but last year the cherry stout, scotch ale, barleywine and rye chocolate porter I believe...there may have been one or two other beers but you won't see the three you listed.

Since their 2016 release calendar doesn't have Cherry slated until May, I doubt they have it for sale next weekend
