    I just picked up a four-pack of Troll Way from a local Minnesota brewery. I really wanted to like this, and I really felt in the mood for a good citrus-dominated IPA. Yet, it really underachieved for me.

    Oh well, still beer.

    Victory knows IPAs, and the base IPA seems reliable enough - and I like grapefruit characteristics in IPAs - and this has that - plus - the agave - and that flavor element, reminiscent of tequila's - is also appreciable. Good stuff...

    For some reason I have not seen Victory IPA at the stores I visit. Maybe it will take some time before it gets to Richnmond, VA. I will definitely buy it.

    Evening BA. This smells awesome and tastes great. It's a little syrupy and sweet tasting, but I guess that's to be expected in a 10% IPA. I like it!
