Cracked open a Tree House Green tonight. Almost as juicy as Julius!

Gonna have to pick more of these up. I accidentally drank all the ones I bought to cellar. Cheers!

One of these was an experiment that became a drain pour. The other was just mildly disappointing.

And from the source, no doubt! (That's pretty awesome!)

I stopped by briefly mid-afternoon to pick up two cases of that shah in cans. Small world!

Got into the stronger stuff. Nice to be able to have this on the regular this year. Putting a few away for the next few months too. 11/6/15,

Don't worry bout the sad plastic cup in the Holiday Inn, just be happy that this local bottle shop was kind enough to age this spiced stout for 2 years before I got here...

had a lawson's super session #2. nice beer, but i could do without it wasting precious shelf and brewery space, given what lawson is capable of. loved it when it first came out, but kind of tiring of it.

considering backwoods bastard or bell's 30th. when i began writing that sentence, i thought "i know i have some backwoods bastard... and some bomb!... what would i like to drink? what else do i have... well there's bell's 30th--oh fuck, i have more bell's 30th! deliberation over."

Ha! Totally agree. My thought (and review) was that it was a saltless Gose, more or less. Nicely balanced tartness and bread/grain malt. Your opinion?

I was so hesitant (or I guess, financially flinching) when I took the six pack of Expedition to the counter to buy it...$16.99 plus bottle deposit came out to about $19 with tax. I've had one so far, and went to go back to buy more and they were gone. All gone. So I'm glad I spent the money, it was well worth it and that is one KILLER russian imperial stout.

The only way to drink Steel Reserve :

so hot that it burns the buds off of your tongue, making you oblivious to the ethanol corn fest hidden within.

I'd say this guy has the right idea
