I like them all, really enjoying Darwin and EBBB lately. I wish Craft Beer Temple would do more vids. Louisiana Beers Reviews is great but he didn't particularly like my fave beer on the planet. Like Greg, BGN and Chad too

 

Darwin would absolutely love Ghost in the Machine.

Anyone know what happened to Keith's Beer Reviews? Is he still alive?

 

You're right, "hate" is a strong word. I understand you're an East Coast drinker, and honestly I'm a little jealous I can't get Tree House. Maybe in the future you'll review some of Noble Ale Works IPA's or perhaps Societe. Cheers Dawrin!

Chop & Brew is probably my favorite.
Brewing TV used to be great until it just became a place for Northern Brewer to post short videos for their products.
Not a very popular channel but donosborn has taught me a lot about homebrewing. I've modeled a lot of my technique based on his methods.
Beer Geek Nation is good, although I think Chris can be annoying sometimes.
Master of Hoppets is kinda entertaining too.

 

I started out a watching Greg and thought he was great. However, he spends more time rambling or ranting about dates than actually reviewing the beer. I understand the date discussion and stand behind it, but he just goes on too much. Even if the beer being reviewed has a date, he'll spend 5 minutes talking about the other ones that don't.

Recently he had a rant about Evil Twin putting out a bad beer with no date. I didn't disagree with his opinion, but he got some negative comments and dislikes. Then he put out a video saying he doesn't care about what the viewers think and he gets paid either way and basically said once we click the video he's collecting his cash. I quickly clicked unsubscribe.

Darwin & Jow are the best. I also watch Nick and Nathan too.

 

I'll watch Greg's Beer Reviews every now and then, but craft beer channel is really good. The Brewing episode of Modern Marvels is on there too, that's very addicting. I'll probably watch that now lol

 

Darwins beer reviews are great... I feel like our palates are identical and value his opinion a lot...part of my morning computer routine, along woth checking this site, emails, fantasy sports, etc is checking his youtube page to see if theres a new video lol

 

I mostly watch darwin and greg. The first BBA is probably my favorite though.

He posted a couple months ago that he's taking a break, no real eta on a return though.

 

I like Massive Beer Reviews. Matt seems like a good dude and is very honest, on both hyped and non hyped beers. Also I've learned a thing or two while listening.

 

Beer Geek Nation followed by Massive Beer Reviews for me. Hopefully Matt reaches Chris' level of subscribers some time soon.

Darwin is good, and he gets to try some of the best beers. He should take notes from Chris and Matt about the background of his videos though.

Greg is OK. His reviews are way too long, he repeats himself too much, and he detest criticism. Also his audio and video quality is just awful

Forrest Gump's Nasty Macro-brew Reviews (Louisiana Beer Reviews) are just pure comedic genius. It's a train wreck that I can't look away from. I encourage everyone to use LBR as a drinking game. Take a sip whenever Ronald Jay:

Runs his fingers through his hair
Gives a time and weather report
Licks his fingers or bottle/can
Takes a bite of food
Speaks in a high voice
Complains about the pretentiousness of the "craft beer community"
Goes completely off the topic of beer

 

Over the last few years I've started watching Joe and Nathan quite regularly. I don't watch Greg anymore. Not enough time in the day and the guy started coming off as an old grouch.

Ryan seems to be too busy to post videos. I'm wondering if he'll be opening a brewery at some point in the future

Proper Hops made a bizarre return. Moved to a new channel, made a hype video announcing the proper hops revival and everything. Posted a trip to jester King and then disappeared once again

Chris Quinn is still the best. He is great for beer. It would be hard to find someone who cares more about the well being of craft beer and it's consumers than him.

 

Thank you for posting this. I must've missed that video about the cash (I'm a recent subscriber), but what a dick. Plus, he's ALWAYS bitching about wax on the bottles, which is fine, but it's on every single waxed bottle. It's just getting old.

 

Just Keep Tastin' was great but it was very short lived, just two guys chugging whatever people were willing to send them. Here's the video of them chugging OG Rare

 

Haven't been on BA for about 3-4 years, and oddly just stumbled over this thread on google.
But thanks for all the supports, glad you guys still enjoy the channel and what I do after 6 years of beertubing!

I really love the community on there and I have met and talked to a lot of awesome people through it, and then beertubing is just freakin' fun!!
