They were selling it straight from the brewery yesterday, $10/bottle, 12 bottle limit. Should be around for at least a few days over there.

 

Could be any day now. In the thread dedicated to the variants it's been sighted on shelves in Seattle, Eugene, & Denver. Odd that they'd send it out before the taproom release...

Benj68's post was in reference to Size 11, FYI. But yea, the cognac has been releasing early in a few places already. Same thing happened with regular abyss if I recall (not here of course, we seemed to be the last area to get that).

 

Anyone know why I bought a 2014 Abyss out of the box at my liquor store I frequent and not the 2015? I bought it for someone else that wanted it and found it odd.

 

I noticed several stores across the metro got cases of 2014 instead of 15. Not sure the reasoning behind that, but people have said there was less abyss made this year, so maybe that was a way to "make it up" or something. I don't really know.

On another note...it looks like Enki just tapped a single hop citra at 99 IBU and 5.1%. Should be interesting. Wasn't impressed when they opened but had a cacoa porter recently that shows promise.

 

Any other Perfect Nose sightings out there?

 

F44 and Princetons had some weeks ago. you might try F44, as it was in back and not actually on the shelf. Bill asked if i wanted it during their cellar sale and i passed.

i believe most stores got two bottles and that was it.
