Just cracked my first bottle. Its quite good folks. I've been a fan of all of the anniversary beers with the except of Skoons (2nd anny). I even really dug Orange Bliss (probably even more than Mexican Cake although most everyone would disagree with me). Anyways, I digress. Sounds like its hitting pretty decent distro so enjoy everyone!

Same here, I love them all but Orange Bliss is my favorite. Wish they'd brew it more often like they do the Mexican Cake.

I bought a bottle at Stateline Elite yesterday. $9.99 limit 1. They had maybe a case and a half on the shelf.

This seems like it's going to similarly to 4th Anniversary...bum's rush at the start, then by the end of the month one could get cases at Morganelli's if they so chose.

The distributor in AL has no date on when it will be here. Crazy to me that we can get in on draft but no clue when bottles will arrive. It seems like it is taking a long time for us to get WB stuff. We just got Dark Helmet today, hasn't it been out for a while?

We just got 5th in Georgia this week, saw it on the shelf yesterday afternoon. Haven't tried it.

I'd recommend it if your a fan of fruited stouts, it reminds me a non-barrel aged Lindley Park with more roast . Let's hope they continue the trend and release a barrel aged version next year because it's going to be incredible.

There was a noticeable lag between kegs and bottles, even here in Charleston.

Didn't think I'd like this ..but it's pretty awesome IMO..I would imagine it would be best fresh with the fruit

I think that was on purpose- we got the kegs like 2-3 weeks before bottles. I think they wanted to give the bottles a little time to chill out. We pick up from Westbrook twice a week so we got it as soon as Edward thought it was ready to go.

Had it one draft today at The Brick Store and it reminded me a lot of Big Lushious. I'm not going to go hunt down bottles, but glad I got to try it.

I understand that, just letting 'em know it was the same for in town.

I had semi-low expectations based almost solely on the fact that Raspberry stouts aren't usually my favorites, but I thought it was fantastic.

I bought one bottle thinking it might be like BL but was pleasantly surprised that it was no where near as sweet as Big Lushious, I'm going to get a couple more bottles.

Gonna try it. Was glad to see most people didn't compare it to BL, despite how well founders can make a stout that wasn't very good.
