Maybe that's part of the issue then if their systems don't work consistently.

Thats not the case at all. My interactions with her in no way have ever impacted my day in anyway. However, it has been noted that many people have had very uncomfortable interactions with her at the brewery. No ones asking her to flirt and make conversation but as a customer I dont want to be stared at with this akward eye when I ask for a growler fill (very politely I may ask, its how I was raised) when I'm the only person on line on a Thursday. You are working for a brewery who relies on its customers to keep coming back, would it kill you to maybe make customers feel like they are wanted? I've never had an issue with Anthony.

In my experience, having attended a few releases so far, it seems there can sometimes be some slowdown as the line reaches the bar and people passing through order a drink. And then, when you get to the garage to buy cans, there can be some delay as people get their allotment, stuff it into their bags or figure out how they're getting it out, etc. While I know it's nice to grab a drink for the last stretch of the line, is there any reason the line couldn't just go straight into the garage without snaking through the taproom?

It actually has for the last few can releases!

That is, line to garage is happening. Say what you will about the can line experience, OH keeps trying to make it better.

Ah well then my bad! I went yesterday well after there was any line and prior to that it was before Street Green, so obviously my data is a bit outdated.

So if it's never impacted your day why are you complaining about it online? (Asking for a friend)

I was just commenting on another persons comment. Thats all. God forbid I spoke my opinion on a forum.

It's just weird, that's all. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, just has everyone's entitled to show up and do their job in peace.

I worked in retail for many years, so I understand the plight of terrible customers on workers. However, it's a wee bit ridiculous to have that kind of attitude literally 2 minutes after opening for business when as far as I can tell, none of the first customers caused any issues.

Feels like your'e confusing retail with a hipster brewery in hipster Brooklyn

Not at all. They're not exclusive of each other. In fact, hipster brewery is the total definition of "retail".

Its all customer service. Thats not hard to understand. If I went to my job (which is not in the food/beverage business) and had a bad attitide I'd get fired in a minute. Its one thing to be able to do your job in peace. Its another to make customers feel unwelcomed.

I also worked in the food service business for many years when I was younger and I never treated a customer with a bad attitude no matter how agitated and pissed off I was. I sucked it up and did my job.

If you want to do your job 'in peace' then dont work somewhere that relies on customer interaction. Pretty ridiculous that I had to explain my opinion.

Drinking the oat overdose now and feel that it is slightly under carbonated. Thoughts?

I'm drinking one now and not noticing under carbonation. In fact I'm very impressed on how good this is

Agreed on how delicious it is. Both the Oat and IPA from yesterday are very high quality - oat is still better imo. Thinking of waiting to crack another can to see how it settles since it was super fresh (canned 1/15).

No issues with the carbonation of oat here. It's creamier body made it to be a slower sipper for me. Took me over an hr to finish not that I was couting. Might just be me being a little more laid back on a Sunday afternoon.

I'm onto the IPA now. So crisp and clean but still rich and malty, some nice herbal tea flavors mixing in the bouquet of citrus. Oily piney finish that just melts away with a moderate lingering bitterness that torches the tongue just right. Really just a perfect modern expression of the classic ipa.

I'm torn between drinking the we've been out there now or letting it age for a little while. Anyone here aging it?
