Hunahpu Day 2016

I will definitely be bringing my own water bottle in a small backpack.

 

Since I've only been to two beer festivals and did a terrible job taking care of myself both times, I am appreciative of all of this advice, haha.

 

I was going to do this as well.

 

I will be in Tampa the weekend after Huna day (fml). Is it typically on draft at the brewery or around Tampa 1-2 weeks after Huna day?

I missed out on the airport Huna last year. Walked right by the pub. This will not happen again.

 

Was this only on Friday? Curious as I'm flying down on Thursday.

Not sure. It was on Friday last year but that was my first year. Maybe some vets can tell you if it's Friday only or what.

 

I will definitely suggest eating well. And greasy. And drinking tons of water the night before and during.

 

Well technically it IS a marathon for your liver and thankfully I've been training heavily for years!

Goose Island just added. 157 breweries so far!

 

At 3500 tickets, that's 22.3 people per brewery. Good odds. I'm doing 5oz curls every day.

 

Hunahpu aged in a 20 Year Old Mad Dog or Thunderbird Barrel is what I am hearing

 

Any rumblings from the NE about Alchemist, Lawsons, Tree House, HF, or Trillium joining the fun in the sun?

 

Looks like Bottle Logic added Fundamental Observation to the list of beers. Would love to try that if possible.

2) Will the pub be open at the same day?

Does anyone know if they will hand out score cards, maps or something like that to keep track of beers and where they are in the park?

 

Last year they handed out an amazing spiral bound book when you entered the grounds that had a page for each brewery and the beers they brought with them..also had a map where each brewery was pouring in The CCB Lot...I would expect something similar this year
