Tons of Avery vanilla bean stout is at the giant eagle in lewis center. They also have cases of another beer that starts with an a that people are searching for.

Earlybird Brewing Company

My taste buds can confirm: we finally have a legit, dedicated, wild-focused brewery right here at home.

Seriously though, this is one to watch. I had four of their brews tonight, and was thoroughly impressed by each.

 

Their website sucks. Just throwing that out there. Also, they are in Cleveland, since there's no info on here for them.

 

Yes, their website does suck. Like most businesses these days, their social media accounts are more up to date and relevant anyway. Tough luck for me since this website is about as close to social media I've ever signed up for.

 

Wondering if anyone has heard anything about Fat Head's bottling Midnight Moonlight black ipa? Would love to have a regular stash of that deliciousness in my fridge.

 

I just heard about this brewery a few days ago. Please tell me where you got these bottles. I would like to try something by this brewery ASAP. Also, how much were these bottles?

$15 ea.

They did a bottle release at a bar called Drink. Bar & Grill. Sold out same day. I found out about it via some beer blogs, but it seems their social media more promptly announces any news or events.

 

I was surprised the Earlybird stuff sold out.

My buddy is a brewer for them so I'll post any tidbits and fun facts I can find out as they move forward with their small brewery.

TL;DR:

Traditional party $40/ticket on 2/8, opportunity to buy 4 BA Blackout bombers ($17.95), food, vintage flight, etc.
Release: At brewery 10am 2/9: Limit 3 (same price)

 

I wonder if the cut down in quantity is due to production numbers or because so many people got shut out last year with the 2 case (12oz format) last year. Any insight from those that may know more? Details on the party sounds pretty fun! Tons of food no way you leave hungry that is for sure!

 

@jampics2 had an interesting theory on the quantity in the release thread I started. TBH, I dont feel that bad for those that got shutout last year. I rolled in 2 hours after the gift shop opening and there were still several cases. Its not like ppl lined up overnight and then got shutout. Then again, maybe I'm just a cold person.

 

If ya stood outside for more than 2 minutes ya would have been cold. It's freezing out!

 

A few of Xoco Charred, BA Ink, BA Dark App, and Deth's Tar still available at The Beverage Source in Newark when I was there two days ago. The Brews Cafe tap list is pretty nice right now too in case you need to build on the excuse to wander these parts.

Hasn't hit Ohio (to my knowledge). I've been hitting the rep up for weeks asking when it would drop.

 

I hope it hits Ohio this go-round. That beer is sensational.
