@Aztec_Chris yeah that probably was a good idea. I will definitely have to do that if I see it again. Thanks for the tip on that :slight_smile:

Because selling society only beers is against the Bruery specific guidelines

Just had this year's MW and was blown away. Great coffee and really smooth.

Generally, yes. Happy to help you with a couple of bottles if you're local.

This was a pretty interesting beer drinking weekend.

Friday - Tequila Sucre: Not bad but the barrel kind of overpowered the base beer. I don't think I'd like more but I have one more I can share with other people without feeling like I'm pawning crap beer on them.
Saturday- 2014 White Chocolate: Not bad but a little infected
Sunday - Roble Blanco: Hit the marks of a beer that tastes like a margarita but if I wanted a margarita I'd make one with tequila. I'm not sure how I feel about having one more bottle of this but I'm happy I don't have more than just that one.

I drank a 2015 Melange 1 over the weekend and thought it was very enjoyable. The BT is not prominent but adds some sweetness and body to to the Oude Tart, which provides the strongly dominant flavor profile (for me).

I was debating on keeping my PS for Q1, sounds like it's staying just for an extra MW.

Had it on tap Saturday. To me it was a run of the mill barley wine. Passing on bottles and I like barley wines.

Can anyone share their experience with carbonation in BT over the years?

Only reason I ask is because I recently opened my third 2015 BT and first to produce an unusual amount of head that lasted till the end. None of my 2014 BT's ever produced that much head. Nor did the 2010 I had back in September.

I honestly hope this isn't a case of infected BT. I would be devistated.

What style though, American or English? That's the biggest thing to factor in.

Definitely more of an English style as far as I was concerned. I thought it was good, not great. I'd rather grab some Sucaba personally but if you're big into barleywines, grab a bottle.

I've noticed a downward trend in sucaba the past 3 years. Probably a combination of scaling up and trimming barrel time but each year tastes more boozy and less oaky. Sad because 2012 Sucaba was epic. Still have a few & popped one a month ago... Still great

Just spotted the Arbre release this Friday on the tasting room board. New experiment, or are they releasing old bottles?
