Why not drink one and age one? Or did you only get one bottle?

Cellering one for a year and another for a couple of months, had one the day off and I had to say I thought it was better on draft strangely

She is always agitated - regardless of time of day. I wouldn't take it personally.

EDIT: And the fact that everyone knows exactly who you are referring to is telling.

Absolutely agree with this. I found the bottled beer pretty drastically different than the beer on tap. Strange indeed.

I would be interested to see how it develops with a year in the cellar, but fresh out the bottle I was not particularly impressed. Which is a shame because I loved the beer on tap.

@aopt I'm glad you called her out (again, everyone knows who just from that). I get its Brooklyn I cannot understand they are ok with someone being visibly innoyed with customers. Maybe some find it kichy, or I'm just getting old, but I just don't understand.

Agreed. But if its run like this last release there should be plenty of beer left all day for everyone.

Yea, that release was well run, so if future releases are the same it should be good. I just hope they can find a way to speed up the line a bit!

My friend from up here who works driving a cement truck in Bklyn has vowed never to set foot in the place again. He had some choice words to describe the attitude he received his last times at OH. Oh well, more for you guys, less for me.

Found a few cans of OH IPA at a local store today. One of the employees went to OH today to get a few kegs for the growler system and they had a few cases left. OH IPA taste fantastic. So much better than the last time I had it on tap.

Got to try Midnight Showers on tap also. I usually dont like black IPAs but holy crap!

This is out already? Can't wait to try it. Planning on swinging by OH tomorrow so maybe it'll be on and I can pick up a growler.

I do not know if its been on at OH yet. My local store got a keg yesterday and was tapped this afternoon. I imagine it will be on at the brewery tomorrow. It is very, very good.

How does it compare to Doug? Or, for that matter, Super Nugget?

Have you had Epitome by Carton? I felt the same about black IPA's, didn't care for them. But when I had fresh Epitome, I was amazed! Will need to try Midnight Showers.

I found it way way better than Doug, but I actually wasnt a fan of Doug so maybe that has something to do with it. Midnight Showers was dank and citrusy with the right amount of roastiness. Not as heavy bodied as Doug either, which makes it much easier to drink.

I have yet to try Super Nugget.
