Welcome, always room! I think the guys above are talking about bringing and opening a possibly infected Boubon county Barleywine.,

I think we are narrowing in on the last two weekends in February at @_RL_ house

Looking forward to it! I got a bunch of sours including love child 5+6, forgotten tales of last gypsy blender, obscura 2014, farm to face, rueze 14 and a bottle of cuirve I would love to share. Also got a few other things I have to check when I get home.

Anyone got any thoughts on this? Local Stouts on par with the Big Boys

I can't really think of anything. My favorite would probably be Brewtus. BA Brewtus is draft-only and I think I preferred the regular. The same I think goes for evolution's RIS, which I need to revisit (good but not up to par). Flying Dog has Gonzo and BA Gonzo. Those are good too, but they are "porters". They do also have Kujo, but I never find myself seeking it out. From my memory, it always seems to be too carbonated and without that nice stout mouthfeel. I'd rather have Brewtus.

I forgot about Retribution until I went through the main MD breweries' pages. Did it even hit distribution this year? I know that @ninjembro went to the release event.

afaik it did not hit distribution. Haven't seen it anywhere. It's pretty good. Opened a '15 and a '14 bomber the other night and '14 is holding up very well

I'm a big fan of Siren Noir, it's more on the sweet chocolate side

What do you guys think about snow paints from Union? I like it and it's probably the only beer I like from Union besides AM Gold which is only on tap and growler fills

You must not be a fan of hops, if you don't like Double Duckpin and not a gose fan, if you don't like Old Pro. Their two most popular beers, at least on here, seem to be Double Duckpin and Old Pro. With a realistic fantasy island, those are 2 of my X amount of beers right there.

Snow Pants is good. Nice bit of roast, and one of the better Oatmeal stouts that I've had. Everything they do is just solid.

Just remembered that the weekend of the 19th wouldn't work for me (and presumably @gillagorilla ) since that weekend is magfest, so of the last two weekends of feb the last is the only one that'd work for me. If the weekend of the 19th works better for everyone though I'm ok missing a share!

Just seeing this now for some reason. I recently moved into Columbia from MoCo, where are these shares happening/is there room for another? I might be able to swing the 27th. Will bring beer.

Ten people should fit easily in the front room. We can deal with the logistics of a larger crowd if needed.
