I'd love to sit back, relax and have a beer with Mike Gerhart from Otter Creek. Or enjoy a beer and talk flavors with Augie Carton from Carton Brewing. Both seem like awesome dudes.

Ain't that the truth. Fred Fest won't be the same without the man of honor presiding over it. :slight_frown:

I'd have a beer with Mike from Copperpoint Brewing in Boynton Beach, Florida. Super nice guy who makes some awesome beers. Had the benefit of chatting with him several months ago at the brewery. Wouldn't mind tipping back some pints with him!

I could drop many names, but truth be told, I'd prefer to have a beer with my long gone Dad than any other person. In my dreams, for sure.

Did you ever get to talk with him at any length? I was luck enough to meet him at one of the Real Ale Fests in Chicago, a couple home-brew friends knew him from way back so I was following the right crowd. What a grand knight of the hobby.
My Irish grandfather died before I was old enough to drink so I never got to sit down and talk over a beer or whiskey. I was the first grandchild to travel back to the old sod, so I toasted him with a Guinness and Bushmill's at the Brazen Head.

Definitely @StoneGreg! Love his enthusiasm and passion for craft beer. Seems like a cool guy to have a beer with. In regards to the beer of choice... I'm loving the new Enjoy By Unfiltered as of recent! I would also like to try some of his favorite recommendations that aren't brewed by Stone.

I met Mr. Hill at his brewery a few years back. Even though I had heard he could be a bit "standoffish", I approached him without an attitude or any conception of whether he would respond or how he would respond. As it went, I told him I enjoyed his beer very much, mentioned something about how he was right in being on the point in halting trading of beer on E-bay and asked if he would take a picture with me. He did and couldn't have been more gracious about it. Of course, this was before he apparently gets mobbed all the time since there were only a dozen or so people around.

Three brewers in no particular order: Ken Grossman, Vinnie Cilurzo, and Matt Brynildson.

I guess I'd love to chat with the Careys as well; I'm sure they have many insights into not just beer in general, but the business end as well. Only I'd love to meet them at Zum Schneider in NYC and share quite a few half-liters of Traunsteiner beers.

I had the absolute pleasure of discussing brewing with the head brewer at Jackie Os over beers. Rum Oil, BBA Dark App, and Anchorage A Deal With the Devil to be exact. He also poured me everything on tap and in bottle. It was a mind bending, liver melting, and memory erasing kind of thing.

Best beer afternoon of my life, honestly.

I would like to put a couple belgians back with dan and martha paquette from pretty things. I think they make extremely underrated and creative beers and I would like to wish them luck

I'd have a Todd the Axe Man with Todd the Axe Man. There would be no words spoken, just headbangin death metal on volume 11.
