    Holy Crap - you guys are quickly becoming the type of brewery that Chicago needed but was lacking, just need a larger barrel program.

    Cash 4 Golden Ale was really good. I liked the hoppy wheat porter quite a bit too.

    I tried to give them money... But they weren't taking anymore! I can't wait to try the BA Hyper Dog ( should someone graciously give/trade/share with me.

    Just picked up the Poivre de Sichuan... Can't wait to try it.

    I feel ya. I've enjoyed everything Pipeworks has put out thus far. It's too bad I didn't know about them when the FWB program started. Luckily I have a friend that is a Friends with Benefits member and he's gracious enough to share :slight_smile:

    August 23, 2012 Update:

    Today brings us the release of:

    Something Hoppy This Way Comes - An Imperial IPA, 10% ABV, with Sorachi Ace hops! We love this beer! We think it's a very clean tasting IIPA with a great lemony hop bite =) Unfortunately it is quite limited, only 60 cases this time, so this is one if you want to try you might want to make sure to make it to your FwB pick up location. Binny's Lincoln Park [ed. note: Castle Vav] and West Lakeview Liquors are both stocked for you.
    Should retail for $10.99/22oz bottle

    End of Days Blue Wax, 8.2% ABV returns as well! Cinnamon, Ancho, Chipotle, Guajillo, & Cacao Nibs up the ante on this Milk Stout.
    Should be $8.99/22oz bottle

    Highlights of our brewing schedule:

    A Foolish Wit - Sour Mango Imperial Wit Bier (no not a sour beer, but made with sour mango)
    Standard Issue IPA - pale IPA with Columbus & Cascade
    Blue Lady - our blueberry Berliner Weisse should be ready in a few weeks
    another Berliner Weisse that we haven't decided on what to 'fruit' it with yet...

    Few questions.

    Pipeworks bottle shop? ANy word on when this will be open? Will it just have bottles and glassware available or will there be taps?

    Also, what would be the best 3 places to get pipeworks beers in chicago?




    On a side note. Blueberry berliner wiesse? YUM!

    Bottle Shop was aiming to be open sometime in the 3rd Quarter 2012 - that may have been delayed a bit further. Not sure about taps being available, but bottles and glassware (plus apparel, etc.) is part of the plan.

    Best places to get Pipeworks (in no particular order):
    1. Castle Vav
    2. West Lakeview Liquors
    3. Binnys on Grand (downtown) or Binny's South Loop
