Picked up some bottles today, they might of had cans but I don't recall seeing any.

I'd actually forgotten about NN as I'd recently stocked up on beer and hadn't planned on buying more any time soon. I'll have to make an exception.
I am disappointed they did away with the 16 oz. cans though. :slight_frown: But what the hey, I can live with the change and will be picking some up as soon as I can find some near me.

I mean... I don't particularly care about the labels... But! I do think the old label was the most iconic thing troegs had. And until i started thinking about it probably my favorite beer label out there. That being said I had no problem walking in and paying 47 bucks for a case of the new labels today. Now if only my fridge would hurry up.

I could care less if there were no labels. This beer is awesome. I am still hoping to score a case of cans, but all beer distributers in Philly area that I called just have bottles. Telling me cans are coming soon.

Any specifics on "soon"? Will it be next week or two weeks from now?

I bought a 12-pack of Nugget Nectar bottles to 'tide me over' until the cans arrive.

    Cheers!

My beer store said on Monday that cans were "2-3 weeks out"

I got a case of cans in Lancaster, PA on Thu 1/14. The distributor was able to get 7 cases. We are about 40 mins from the brewery.

I grabbed a case of cans in Edwardsville- incredibly helpful staff there. They told me they expected more cans next week, but their initial order of cans was cut in half. So, obviously demand is there. I remember last year that a second shipment of the tall boy cans hit the beginning of February. So 2-3 weeks out sounds right.

Anyone find it near Hazleton yet? It's supposed to start hitting NEPA this week but I haven't found it at Weis or The Beer Stop.

Wegmans, Shangy's, Tanczo's and Casscario's all got it yesterday.

Al's of Hampden had 6-packs of cans when I was there on Monday, too.

Do you think there is actually a taste difference?

Just wondering why you would turn down bottles. During the winter, the "cans are good for outdoor drinking" thing is less important.

I can't speak for beerfinder but I prefer cans since they are 100% impervious to air (oxygen) which is not the case for bottles. Cans are also 100% impervious to light but that is a lesser concern for me.

    Cheers!
