Any updates on if this is still happening tomorrow, or this week?

 

I wasn't at work today, but I am still anticipating the delivery to come in Thursday. If it's a day late because of snow, I won't know until it's actually arrived, but it will definitely come regardless.

 

Be careful with Christmas Morning. I've had 4 bottles this past year and all seem to taste different. Some, far more coffee-forward and some have next to no hint from the flavor influence.

 

The one bottle of Christmas Morning I got this year was VERY coffee-forward. And delicious.

 

Coffee-forward sounds good to me. Especially if it manages to mask that offputting ginger taste.

 

Same thing here. Opened my first bottle by myself and it was a coffee monster that was fantastic. I took it to a bottle share in another state and it was very light coffee flavor but was still liked by all (except me who thought it didn't live up to the previous bottle). I also had a similar experience with the AB GBS. Opened 3 of my bottles and couldn't get any apple brandy whatsoever, but I saw reviews online and talked to some people who thought the barrel was too overpowering.

More on topic, has anyone seen Insanity for non-insane prices? I want to get a bunch so paying the MSRP goes a long way compared to the $21-22 a 4 pack I've seen.

Tons of nugget nectar bottles at WF P but no cans. Bombers of enjoy by left if you want to throw away $10

 

Do you not like the enjoy by or do you just think it's overpriced compared to a 6 pack?

 

Price, $10 for a bomber of ipa is absurd to me.

 

So the Enjoy By six packs are gone? I?f so, anybody know when they sold out?

 

I would caution against buying a lot of Insanity (or any Weyerbacher beer), the last 2 years (possibly more) its been infected. It tastes fine at first, but after a few months it turns sour. I ended up drainpouring a couple 4 packs.

 

Has anyone else experienced infection issues with last year's Insanity? I still have a few bottles and will be bummed if they're bad. Really enjoyed this beer fresh.

 

I actually buy a lot of Weyerbacher stuff and never had any issues. I bought numerous 4 packs of Insanity and Sunday Morning Stout last year and they all came out great.

 

Does anyone know what is on tap at Ocelot and how much they charge for 64 oz growler fills. The web page is not that helpful. I wanted to stop by on way home before the storm.

 

I haven't been but a photo of their chalkboard on facebook makes it look like $18-20 depending on the beer.
