before they started adding them in the order history I told them when I was shipping my included bottles in an order note to make sure they made it and understood what the space was for. Being a returning member is irrelevant to getting your 2015 included bottles.

I noticed in today's email under Key Dates it lists Or Xata for Monday the 25th with a (2016, RS) next to it. Think we have a Or Xata allocation on Monday?

It should be released on Monday. Buying a case of Or Xata last year was the best decision I made. Last chance for Mocha Wed till next year.

Just their weekly email for mostly what's happening at the tasting room. It's also on their Facebook page. Just go all the way down to where they list Food Trucks, Featured Society Beer and Key Dates.

Anyone have Chupacabra Quincinera? I drank it and it was just ok. I asked myself "Why is this beer a Hoarders exclusive?"

I had the same experience I opened one a couple weekends back and noticed the same thing. I did not notice a change in flavor (this would be the 4th bottle I opened). They had it on tap at The Bruery on Sunday when I was there, although I did not try it nor did I think at the time to look at one someone else who had it. Not sure if anyone at The Bruery who has tried it can shed some light on their pour of 2015.

@mattolesh Can we get a comment on this? It really does seem like it's penalizing those who chose to take the bag. Not letting us know we would have to go without growler fills for a few months seems pretty bad.

Haven't bought them yet, but was wondering how it was.
Cheap enough to grab a couple.
I find with bruery beers with brett, I stash them in the cellar for at least a year or two and they become fantastic.
Example saison tonn, fresh meh...that beer was off the charts with a year or two on it.

Your option was a bag or a growler, with the option to buy the other choice at a later time. You picked the bag for yourself, they didn't, live with your decision.

I was slightly bummed when I heard the wait time to purchase a growler, but the quality of the bag makes up for the time I'll have to wait for a growler. If this bag had Supreme on the side of it, it would be at least $150.

the bag is made by the people that do herschel, so its really solid as far as quality of product goes. I think I heard when I was in the fulfillment center the other day that if you want to buy the bag later on its gonna be like $50 or $60. and you can double up one way or the other. two bags or two growlers or one of each.

This is what I think. In fact, wasn't there a point where we were only going to be able to get one or the other? Sure it would have been nice to get a heads up on the timeline but it's definitely not penalizing anyone.

Are you saying the growler will be $50-$60 as well? I thought I remember seeing/reading that the bag and growler would be the same price, $50 for a 32 oz growler seems a little overpriced.
On side note, I loved Les Ronces, I hope this is a sign of things to come!

Purely guessing here, but I bet it was a small batch and so they made it hoarders only. If my guess is correct I hope they keep doing that as we will eventually get an amazing beer out of it.

I'm sorry, I just really don't get it. What were all of you thinking when you choose a bag instead of the growler? At the very least you would have missed the first month of growler fills if that was a big deal to you. I'm sorry but this just seems like poor planning on the user. You had two options, you were even given the choice to switch your option and were told you could buy the other at a later time. If you were even remotely considering growler fills into your decision, you should have picked the growler up front and you wouldn't have had this issue. I mean how many times does the Bruery have to let you know something before it becomes your responsibility to pick the item you actually want.

So we can double up on the growler, after being told the reason we can't fill out 2015 32oz growlers with 2016 RS32 fills is because they want don't want people doubling up on their fills.
